Well guys, it's finally here. I finally managed to get around to making my video on the Worst Legendary Weapon Effects available to the player in Fallout 4! To bad it took me about 4 to 5 months to make. Unlike the original Best Weapon Effects video, this one is completely current up to the Far Harbor DLC!

Me - "Gets Never ending Gatling Laser. Trips over pebble, dies" Literally... after killing a legendary Super mutant warlord.... I glitched when I was walking over a rocky area, and died immediately 2 seconds after grabbing the weapon off him. Respawn...killed him and got a legendary pipe pistol that does 15 points of cryo damage.

I can understand if you want a melee build or a really tanky build though. Although, after playing through survival with a mod that makes me take 5 times more damage I really don't see the point of tanky builds anymore. just don't get shot at all and your golden.

The Medics effect is something for the wasteland workshop DLC so you can heal arenafighters if you want them to win, or you just heal the creatures that protect your settlements.

I think the thought was, a he said in the video, an option to heal your companions. Imagine taking Strong with you - he rushes in to combat, you can just stay back and heal him. Since you can hot key weapons, you just switch - hit him a bit to heal him, then switch back. It might actually have been useful in survival mode, given how if your followers "die" you need to stimpack or repair kit them, I'd love a 10 mm gun with it so I can just shoot them to heal them back.

Great video. Playing this game again in 2022! Does the resolute legendary work for weapons that have very low clip size? Like the missle launcher? Fat man? Harpoon gun? I feel like the nimble effect could be good for the combat shotgun or a weapon that works like an SMG, something that keeps you in close range.

One possible use for the Medics Machine-gun is for missions that you need to keep certain people alive for certain outcomes like in the mission Diamond City Blues where there is a special outcome if the mob bosses son survives but it is hard to do due to him being attacked by your companions like all of the other trigger men. If you could heal him though you could get the ending much easier.

Resolute can be use on to compensate for long reload time on heavy weapons such as Harpoon gun and Missile launchers. And maybe the slow time effect will help you to lead the shot(s) ahead of your target(s).

Death From Above is good if you're fighting against fast melee enemies. Assuming you're playing a build that uses a missile launcher a lot or just like using it, one of it's biggest problems of all explosive weapons is the splash damage can kill you if you fire it too close and enemies like assultrons can close the gap between you and them quite quickly. Use the Nimble effect to get away and avoid blowing yourself up.

Can you do a Top x legendary weapons for your companion/settler/provisioner? For my gameplay style--I usually just pick one legendary weapon and stick with it through the game--and switch if I find something better--so what I tend to look for in legendary weapons is if it would be a benefit to give to my companion or settler--so obviously anything that helps on VATS or crits might not be the best choice. But I would like to know more about what weapons I can give to a(n) NPC to compliment me on missions or who can lay waste while provisioning, or whoever I assign to a guard tower back home.

Look at E3 last year, a bunch of kids appeared on reddit, youtube, everywhere who played the mobile game and saw the hype train memes, but they knew jackshit about fallout. So Bethesda knew this and they rewrote the lore so the simple minded kids will not get tangled up in the lore which is a retarded idea. They destroyed the series. I with Obsidian will get a chance to make the next one. The new engine will grant them the ability to build a better world. Did you knew that New Vegas war originally not this empty shit sandpile? Bethesda forced them to remove a bunch of stuff because the CONSOLE version could not handle the huge save file sizes... Now Bethesda talked about console mods so much that console kids thought they were ENTITLED to mods that people make for fun. They sent death treats to modders for not releasing their mods on console and they stole a bunch of mods and made money off of them...

To be fair the Resolute effect is designed to prevent downtime on guns that are slow to reload. Think of it as a quick reload mag for guns that don't have quick reload mags. This works mostly with guns like the Double Barreled Shotgun or the .44 Magnum. Its just a watered down endless legendary effect.

This guy is full of it. All he looks at is damage, not flavor, not passive aggressive biulds, nothing. This isn't a PVP game where you need to min max the shit out of it. If your playing a Junky then the Junky ability is good. If your playing a pyro you may only use fire weapons. So the incendiary weapon is your best bet to get new guns. Medic could easily be good if your playing with companions. Instead of using stimpacks just shoot Piper with your special gun. Or if your like me and like to use others to fight for me get that on a sniper rifle and heal the raiders that are attacking the mutants up ahead.

I am convinced that the game likes screwing with me. (Or possibly, is trying to encourage a different playstyle.) My blade melee character, with a pistol backup, has a huge collection of legendary sniper rifles. My power armor/heavy gunner has a dozen 10MM and pipe pistols. Another character has three pieces of armor with the acrobat feature. All left leg. I like the random possibilities of the Chinese Menu style of legendary drops. But it can be really frustrating.

I hate bethesdas "magical" effects for weapons in the fallout series, period. I have ever since F3. Leave this goofy shit in your elder scrolls games where it belongs. These effects take away more from the immersion of the game, as opposed to helping it. I'd rather have more base guns with different ammo types and craft able mods than this type of garbage.

Well, never having to reload ever, ammo that somehow sets targets on fire/freezes them, and pulling the trigger once and seeing 2 bullets come out is kinda magical. But I guess it's no less realistic than the inventory system (you can and will carry 20,000+ bottlecaps no problem!) and the general comic-book science of giant insects and skinless humans who are immune to gamma waves and never need to eat.

The slow down legendary effect is actually helpful for me as a sniper character, when I kill more then one target and I only have one bullet left It let me get some easy damage in on the last guy with a headshot.

I beg to differ on the bloodied under certain circumstances. Melee weapons require you to get up close and personal, which means take more damage. My Bloodied Chinese Officer's Sword, equipped with an electrified serrated edge, does insane damage when I'm low on health, and I personally have found it to be more useful than even Grognak's Ax.

I wonder how the bloodied effect works with radiation? If you have 90% of your hitpoints occupied with radiation, does it read that as 90% of your health is missing, or does it just adjust your max hitpoints to the remaining unradiated amount? If the former, this could be pretty viable on a radiation build with the new items and effects added with far harbor.

Incendiary is 5 fire dmg for 3 sec accompanied by fire shader visual effect. This is set up as Enchantment and can't be influenced by perks. Damage stays the same, but the timing should stack up, as it says "Extend duration on recast".

Watching you play this game makes me feel better about my own Fallout career. You know, there's a mod open to both consoles now that allows you to scrap Legendary Weapons? When you do this, it gives you Freedom Cells, which you can use to put BETTER Legendary Effects on your favorite guns? Not to mention, it does in fact work with modded weapons as well! So, you can turn your Ghoul Slaying Gamma Gun into a Crippling Submachine Gun! Ha, great, isn't it?

the bloodied effect is good with Nerdzerker/Inquisitor builds, or full Rad builds (builds that rely on repeatedly using Nerd Rage and/or all the effects that boost your damage and resistances when your life is low/rads are high). This effect can add up to DOUBLE damage on very low health. Some of the other damage legendaries are better, sure, but i would be pretty happy to get this effect in my nerdzerker/Agility build. The incendiary effect is useful for one reason, it lights enemies on fire, which makes them far easier to track in the dark. For this reason I really liked the Incendiary radium rifle that I found with my night person/sneak character.

I believe resolute was designed with the rifles in far harbour in mind, as some of these do quite significant damage despite having a low fire rate and often ausing a bolt action reloading method.

The junkie effects is insanely good on the right weapon and with the right build. For example I have a children of atom build and got a radium rifle with the junkie effect. I'm pushing 315 a shot and that's without the two far harbor perks that give you a massive increase in damage (100% and 4x) Also without bloody mess Not to mention I'm not using 3 of the addictions. I'm leveling 50 and 95 off things are getting one shores so far. This was a welcome drop for a build I limited to radiation related weapon but wanted massive damage.

Bloodied depends on the max benefit you can get from it. Like if you make a stealth character and force into 1 health with a high powered silenced bloodied weapon then how much damage would that deal compared to a mighty legendary?

I think the medic effect would be cool for story telling purposes.. your character saving the people and creatures of the commonwealth it would also be cool if when you use that perk enemies turn non hostile even for just a limited time for you to walk or run away

Found a glitch with the nimble effect legendary weapons, When Far Harbor first came out, I got the new rifle with the nimble legendary effect. I was on my PS4 and I found that quickly aiming and un-aiming give you a short speed boost.

the one with the slow time with the last shot was probably meant for the harpoon gun since it has only one shot come to think of it there are a lot of ways to slow time in this game between jet legendary weapons and armor maybe someone will add a grenade that when thrown will explode on impact and make the dragonborn shout to freeze time call it boom thuume

The resolute effect is so that you can reload in the heat of battle without taking as much damage during the downtime (because you can dodge incoming attacks). It isn't the best in terms of damage, but for automatic weapons in a firefight, it's pretty practical.

one of my favorite effects is the one that makes enemies bleed, get that on a laser weapon with the beam splitter and every single one of the lasers makes the enemies bleed, took down a behemoth in an entire clip since he bled out

I agree incendiary is really only great early game. I had a game where I picked an incendiary sniper rifle off an enemy while at level 7 or so and it was a fantastic buff. The effect did become less effective at the mid levels though so I eventually ditched the rifle. But I disagree about the nimble effect...sorta. I had the effect on a shot gun that I equipped with all the top vanilla work shop modifications with the exception of keeping the reflex sights and it was great for clearing buildings and fighting Death Claws that got up close. I never tried most of these other effects and they're pretty mich garbage. Thanks for the video!

i remember hearign that fallout 4 was originally going to be a multiplayer game, just like now with 76, which would explain why the medic effect was created but ultimately never used
