The 1-800-yeetus this is so funny. My 67 y/o, non-caring-about-motorcycles mom was sitting next to me and asked me why I was laughing. Even having to explain the joke, icluding explaining what "yeet" is, she laughed, too. Great ad! I remember those Wilford Brimley diabetes commercials. Being a type 2 diabetic myself, I crack "diabeetus" joke on occasion. So worth it.

I nabbed a 07 Ninja 650r for only 2k last year. Other than slight cosmetic damage, it ran beautifully. I got unbelievably lucky with that find. The sellers were even great people. I wanted an R1 when I started, but my budget was like $3000. I ended up with a '92 Ducati Monster. Much lower HP than I wanted, but I found pretty quickly that my opinion of hp did not matter in the slightest. Crashed the duc and got a Yam fz6r after that because it was all I could afford. Kind of hated its style, but I ended up loving the bike overall. Crashed that one too. Finally put one foot into the big league with a 2007 Suzuki gsxr 750, which is wayyyyyy older than I wanted...by like a decade! Guess what....I f***ing love it. If you're buying a bike because you want to look cool, I can't help you...no one can. If you're buying a bike because, like many of us, you have a deep seated and unreasonable need for 2 wheels, pick anything in you're budget. I promise, I'm having just as much fun with 140hp as I was with 70.

for me, it ended up being getting a used 2001 Sportster with less than 10K miles on it for 3K$, working on it for 9 months, and putting anouther 3K+$ into it .... but i am a motorcycle tech grad 1988, who's grampa worked at H-D for 40+ years from the first big hire in the 1920s ... not everyone would pick a H-D knowing they could get 80Hp out of it on chump change, but i know what i am doing, and the Sportster Parts Are There...that's the thing....so what ever you do, Do Not try building a motorcycle that doesn't have the parts availability to back you up on it...

Just a week ago I also found out how effective brake cleaner was against wasps. I was working on my old Speedmaster and there was that one wasp that couldnt take the hint and leave me alone (not surprising, wasps are demons a-holes on wings) with my bike. I grabbed a brake cleaner that was next to me and gave it a quick squirt. Wasp dropped dead in an instant. I knew brake cleaner was potent poison and serious enviromental hazard but damn, instakill on flight. Of course I also crushed just in case. Anyway, maybe I really should start wearing respirator when using spray cleaners. 😅

A cheaper solution is to use dawn water (yes the dish soap dawn), just be sure the water is good an blue, or to ensure it's extra strong use a 4-1 dilution. It drowns the little bastardos by making the water wetter, allowing it to enter the little hellions an thus drowning them. So load up a spray bottle or pump sprayer an dispense cheap, yet effective death.

Just bought my 2012 Rebel CMX 250 for $2500 only 1600 miles. It's not the fastest but only cost $106 for a year of full coverage insurance

Great job my hillbilly friend. I bought a 2007 Yamaha Vstar with less than 7000 miles on it. I love the bike. The only problem is at over 700 lbs it’s a beast to move for an old man like me. Looking for a lighter bike now. Anyone interested in buying her let me know.

sun faded plastics and flame stickers, don't attack my ZX-6R haha. Also Honda 919 is a great budget often, I've seen an 09 Super Duke for sale locally for 4000 too. But KTM isn't normally known for gbeing cheap

I’m allergic to carb cleaner, mostly because screw carbs, unless they’re pizza, then I love carbs.

Here in Belgium harleys are still looked upon as something "special" you won't find anything under 5000€ exept for a tired sportser, i'll stick with my triumph tiger 995 and MZ scorpion to have some fun on two wheels.

New Royal Enfield Himalayan or Meteor or 650 under or around $5000. New Honda Grom under $4000 or the 1988 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 with 3800 miles on it that only needed a battery and I bought and rode it home for $200. Lots of cheap bikes out there if you just look. Don't worry about horsepower and speed and think fun instead. Have a great summer riding.
