The Hunter 350 has a huge advantage over its 350 companions in that its rims can take tyres like the Bridgestone S22 and Michelin Road 6. With such premium rubber and such low power you can have a little workhorse that's essentially glued to the road surface. The Meteor and Classic unfortunately get stuck with "classic" style tyres and some weird dual sport options.

I would definetly pick a Hunter, maybe do an Air filter and mapping upgrade and put better Rubber when The time comes. However i would be hard pressed not to get a used INT 650 instead for similar price

Here, in Mexico, I ride a 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400. Now, I've just had two other bikes (a Chinese 250 and a 2011 V-Strom 650), but I think the Dominar 400 is pretty good for street and traveling. I asked for insurance quotes for the int650.... over 3k a year lol ridiculous. In NB Canada, you have to take the course, you can't skip it and it's about $700, then you have a beginner license for 1 year, after a year you get another class of license but you cannot ride with a passenger, can't ride after dawn. After another year, you get a regular license. Basically, the first 3 years, since you're a beginner, insurance are generally more expensive than the bike. So, It's not a good idea to buy a royal enfield right away, unless you want to pay around 15k + 9k+ of insurance for 3 years. It's kond of expensive for a 5-8k motorcycle.

I wish they would adapt the regulations for driver licenses in europe. There are so many tempting 200-300cc bikes out there, but we are limited to 125cc bikes and thus forced to upgrade to a bigger bike as fast as possible simply to get the ability to keep up with the traffic. I mainly upgraded to the 650 class because it was intimidating to get pushed by trucks uphill. If my first bike had something around 30-40HP instead of only 15HP I would have for sure kept it a few years longer.
@frankgreco95

I wish the US would follow suit for 125. In the US you can have 50cc and under without the motorcycle permit and I always thought that was silly. America is so spread out with huge speed limits and has so many angry motorists on the road that will run a small bike off the road and not feel bad.. I feel like 125/150 should be the minimum size for some more throttle to just keep up with city traffic but it’s also small enough to not feel like it’s an overpowered bike that needs an endorsement to drive.

Hey everyone! got a question or ac couple here as some new to motorcycles and wanna get started the right way... -should I save my money for a real MC card now and a motorcycle or should I instead use my money for a moped that look and behave similar to a motorcycle and got gears, like a 50 cc scrambler or similar and learn to drive on my own using it until I only need to do the theory and drive up test for a real motorcycle card later on? which is the smart way to go? can a moped 50 cc that look like a motorcycle work as a good city commuter or are they just a total waste of my money and I am better off to keep saving up my money until I can pay for both a real MC card, the needed clothes, equipment and an actual motorbike like these ones in the video for example... please advise me! I am 47 and live in the middle of a capital city. I am only used to drive mopeds as a teen back in the days but now I do Fixed gear bicycles.. - But I want to start to ride motorcycles.. I even been looking at the new Talaria xXx now.. - but a motorcycle is of course the real thing! 😎 Perhaps is smarter to spend the money now on getting a card and rent a bike some days here and there instead of buying a moped bike for the same money? or perhaps is smarter getting a Romet moped or Talaria xXx, or an Moped Viarelli Motard and get started riding on my own just to get something than nothing to ride on and learn to ride as well as one can at such vehicles? really don't know which way to best go?... please advise me how to best use ones money these days to get there eventually out on the road on an actual motorbike! thanks for a great community ! 👌

I rode one in for service with a Yoshi slip on and it sounded much better, which obviously means it was faster, but still nowhere close to the 390 which is only barely more expensive. Yeah thats why you pay cash $$ Just so you know anything you finance house, car, business, anything will end up costing you a lot more over the time of the finance sometimes many times the initial price, thats why Banks etc have the biggest buildings in town, welcome to the world.

the royal enfield line of bikes is the most forgiving and are good beginner bikes but you all are getting ripped off if you ever buy one for over $4k cuz the original price for a blacked out meteor 350 is $3.09k and the hunter 350 with its blue and white tank colour comes at a low price of just $1.9K

Splendid video mostly because I can relate to some of the bikes on the list for example the Duke 200 costs $5000 in Kampala and instead of the 150 cC Honda dual sport we get the 125 and it's one of the best bikes in my country so yeah fun👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌

Why are all these prices so much lower than here in europe? Either i am bad at looking or the MT-03 costs 7000 USD here
@903lew
@903lew Жыл бұрын
In Europe prices are always inclusing sales tax and fees. In the US those are always added to the price.

Looked at the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.Felt like a toy,chipped frame paint on a new bike,and some dodgy fastenings. Not for me.

Hi Yammie, can you please review the CFMOTO 450SS? It’s the only 450 sport bike in the US market that is under $5.5K with really interesting design, features and tech compared to its competition (N400, CBR500R, R3 & RC390). I bought this bike recently and it’s pretty cool. I also have a 2020 N400 KRT for track purposes that I love, but the CFMOTO is a bit different experience.
