Back in the 60's - 70's A local department store had a talking Christmas Tree, maybe not a total animatronic but, it had a woman inside speaking and operating the face for live interacting with children. Most kids found it creepy and frightening

Neat! Our local mall had a two story tall talking snowman named Archie when I was a kid in the 80's-90s (but had been around a lot longer apparently), had a guy inside but all it did was talk and its eyes lit up ominously lol. Oddly it's considered a beloved thing so when the mall closed down it was rescued and is now taken out by the city during the Christmas season outdoor activities.

Hey! I just wanted to thank you for this channel- animatronics used to terrify me, but after following you for a while, they're a huge special interest for me! I got so excited when I saw Singing Sam and the Dinosaur on the list, as I've seen them both in person (specifically the redesigned version of Sam, but the creepy old version is on my bucket list). I 100% believe the Trump animatronic was supposed to be Hillary and they had to work fast so 'fix' it...and it shows. Apparently they did try to actually fix it in 2021...it's closer to what he actually looks like but that's not a compliment lol. They did get his evil squint down pretty good though! But the hair is still wrong, as is his skin color, he's not orange enough! XD

Alright alright, I have no idea if they’re still there or not, but there was a Roller Kingdom I went to one time in Reno Nevada, and there was this animatronic band that was abandoned in the sort of upper platform in the roller rink. I was honestly more interested in them than actually skating, and I asked the people if the animatronics could be turned on. They said those three hadn’t been turned on in ages, and didn’t even know the names of them. I originally thought they were the Rockifellas or something similar, but apparently not. This all happened last year too, idk if they’re still there or not.

The hamburger tree was only ever at the Oak Park IL location. He was there from the early-mid 90s until around 2010. His mouth, eyes, and eyelids used to move as well as the mouthes of the hamburgers on the tree.

If you want to see some truly REALISTICALLY -creepy animatronics, you should come visit the Sternberg Museum in Hays, KS. They have some VERY real-looking, (and LOUD) life-size dinosaurs, and in the past they used to feature giant, realistic animatronic tarantulas and scorpions! ; ) =)

Whomever is afraid of Rainforest Cafe's Tracy Tree, why? I do not see the creepiness factor in her, but that potato? It's on par with the Annoying Orange, so kill it with fire. As for the Trump animatronic, regardless of one's feelings about the actual man, the movements are extremely fluid with a wide range of actions. That, objectively speaking, is pretty amazing.

I heard rumors that Disney was soooo sure that Hillary Clinton would win the election against Trump that the preemptively made a Hillary animatronic for the Hall of Presidents. But when Trump won instead, they didn't want to waste money on making him an animatronic, so they just reconstructed the Hillary animatronic to look like Trump. I think the guys in charge of doing this weren't really happy that Trump won so they didn't really try their best to make him look as realistic as possible which is why the animatronic kind of looks....uh "rough" 😅. You can kind of see it too if you just close your eyes and imagine the animatronic with red lipstick and a blonde bob haircut that's Hillary

I don’t know it was stuck to a wall, but there was a playground and a round table and I was there with my grandma and grandpa and the tree started talking and chose my future. I’m no reason why or what it shows my future so my grandma passed away from pink red cancer.

Thinking of trees in McDonalds, I'm not sure where it ended up or how long it was there.. but there was a "party tree" animatronic at the McDonalds I use to visit here in the UK .. it would sit idle unless activated for parties, I never saw it activated but could see where the face plate would spin around to entertain children!

Tbf the Obama one looked off too. Maybe it has something to do with the way they make the current President animatronic compared to the formers since those Obama and Trump animatronics look better than when they were in office, though all they do is blink. There is still a super cool TRex in the Ripleys Believe it or Not museum in San Antonio Texas. Ive been there twice in the last year, with the most recent visit just a couple months ago and he was still there. Not sure if its the same one/type but there is definitely still a working animatronic TRex in the Museum.
