I love to watch Japanese craftsmen. I’m a precision engineer and have been since 1972 so I’ve lived and breathed this stuff all my working life, but the Japanese take hand crafting skills, care and precision to another level. Their workshops are always so well organised and almost clinically clean. It’s almost Heaven on Earth to me. 👍👍

Absolutely, the process of turning recycled aluminum into new cans is a marvel of engineering and sustainability. The ability to reuse materials in such an efficient way is not only a feat of technological innovation but also a huge step toward conserving resources and protecting the environment. It's incredible how people have figured out how to reduce waste and make things like aluminum cans more sustainable!

I have so much respect for the Japanese people. they have such care, patience and meticulous attention to detail for all they do. Especially in hand crafted wood pieces and the building of the older homes. no nails were used, just tongue in groove joinery, and dowels to hold pieces in place. truly Amazing work. 😀

I love how all of the warehouse chimes and beeps are somewhat musical and easy on the ears. I used to work a 10 hour shift assembling aluminum solar racking systems and the constant beeps and horns from the forklifts and machinery was enough to drive you insane and have you hearing it even when you're gone. If they had softer tones like this, it would've made it so much more tolerable.
@XXSkunkWorksXX2 ай бұрын
Agreed - I thought how clever it was of them to come up with different tunes in each machine so each worker would subliminally 'know' what each machine was doing around them depending on which chime was chirping. When all those cans were falling into the melting furnace they should have a chime playing 'Don't Stop me Now' by Queen hehe!

Should we not acknowledge all the fizzy drinks that went into contributing to the production of all that aluminum? I was a crane operator, forklift operator and slitter operator in my years of manufacturing work. I do miss those days now that I'm retired. This brought back so many happy memories. The years... they pass too quickly.
