Was just in Belize last week. By far the biggest take away was the people. They are the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever encountered and I have traveled a lot. The community spirit is just amazing. The heat is a drawback for me - but it seems that you get use to it.

Hi there it really depends on preference. I run my AC's almost 24/7 at my place because when I get home from a long day of work or activities it is nice to cool down right away. Other people prefer to open their windows and take advantage of the Caribbean breeze.
