Ironically enough, Squizzard is definitely the hardest single boss in the game (I say single because Boss Blitz exists). Its Daredevil run is bar none, the hardest Daredevil in the duo (excluding the obvious Perfect Run).

I have a Mario encyclopedia that states that Birdo was a male who was feminit, however Birdo was later changed to be female. The proof of this is in the instruction booklet for the game were it addressed Birdo as "he" (or him, I can't remember the exact quote).

Sorbetti is kind of terrifying to me because when you come to the boss planet that you were going to you were thinking to fight the boss early here but a cutscene place where the planet that you were previously standing on literally falls onto the planet that you're on and then it reveals that it's the monster that the body was talking about in the intro when you arrive to this planet I ain't got scared to this guy because it was this terrifying it's literally a living planet which has crystals for our eyes bumps on his body and a big red nose almost like Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer in the noises this guy makes it's just so unappealing just listen to him and you don't tell me that it's scary

As silly as he looks, Squizzard is a real pain to fight, unlike bouldergiest who is only difficult in the Daredevil run. The former looks absolutely ridiculous (I don't mean difficulty-wise). The other looks really serious and threatening. It's actually quite ironic. Something *So* silly-looking is a tougher foe then a really scary opponent. I know this because played both of these fights.

Petey Piranah from Sunshine isn't on this list? Well that is surprising, because you have to wait for him to vomit, than spray his mouth before he vomits to cause suffocation, than ground pound his belly to keep the vomit in. Once you do it three times, Petey Piranah's body will be filled with so much vomit, he starts becoming his own vomit, and melts (HOW IS THIS E RATED?), welp that is, strange. In the rematch, he tries to fly away from you, because you killed him in the most gruesome way possible, but he couldn't get away in time, so the same thing happened to him, unable to escape. I guess MatPat is right to a scale, but he got the wrong evidence.

So...as for Birdo... SMB 2 was PLANNED as a Mario-Game. It just so happened, that Nintendo got a deal with TV Tokyo, so they quickly had to make a game for them, and the easiest solution was: Make SMB 2 into Doki Doki Panic and include characters from TV Tokyo, and make a new SMB 2 out of the assets from SMB 1. When this new SMB 2 was deemed too difficult for the American audience, Nintendo realized, they could just swap Mario back IN Doki Doki Panic and give the US the actual SMB 2. Birdo started female (Bow and all), but a game she was leant to, Captain Rainbow, cast her as a trans female. Since then, Nintendo never really made it canon...but threw hints of that at the audience, and made her a very obvious drag queen.
