Amusing, but meaningless question. There are so many dimensions of "smart", "intelligent", etc. that vary based on subject matter, age and other semi-random factors. The answers in this video say volumes about the respondent and bit less about the individual they are citing.

To be honest I think it's a bit of a silly question to keep asking people: "whose the smartest person you ever met". It's like asking people "who's the most beautiful person you ever met". Just sounds silly. It's asking people to rank all the people they've ever meet which isn't a very healthy way of thinking about people in general.
