The "You Control You" and "Change Your Life" videos were the ones that first got me to change my behavior and start winning at life again. Just two days ago I bought a new 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Paid cash, in full. I'm 20 years old and don't have a car payment! God Bless Dave and his team!

Ronald Thomason you're probably a drug lord if you bought a truck in cash at age 20

Hah, I wish I had drug Lord money. No, I just worked my tail off ever since I was 13 years old, and over the last 5 years I saved up enough to replace my hand-me-down car. Life is good man.

I would LOVE to work for Dave, I would have a blast every day hearing his true to the core rants. I am 38 with 2 kids. Started my career as a Target security guard ($9) and worked my butt off at being the best I could. Promoted by demonstrating I have a brain, a great attitude (never said no to doing work way below my level as long as it was legal and ethical) and being kind to everyone I got in contact with, many of whom I coached into their own promotions. I am now a multimillionaire, 3 mortgages paid off and zero debt, and absolutely love my life and my family. Tough it up early so you can enjoy later. While my friends thought I wasnt enjoying life in my 20s, I remained focused. In my early 30s I was settled, had a child, adopted my second as a way to give back to the universe and was (and am) thanking God every day for the wisdom and stregth I had to make good decisions.

Can you tell me how you did it? I just became unemployed and we are a family of five with one in college and only with my husband's income. I am hungry, we are hungry, but I've applied to about 55 different jobs and won't even get a call back for interviews. I have a masters degree and $70, 000 in student loans. We were on our way to baby step 3 when I lost my job but thank goodness we only owe $5,000 compared to $20,000 four months ago. We don't spend any money on anything at all, we eat mostly white rice and beans and we are constantly reducing our budget to make sure we have just what we need. I am thinking of getting my real state license but this is career change. I am willing to step down and start from the bottom. I love to work, I love working with people, I am passionate and I would love to help the world be debt free. I'm crying out for help and advise!!! God Bless You All!

Rant 6 is easily my favorite. Dealing with the sheep and the need of an explosion inside of you, going bananas. And kiss my ankle. Best points. Getting an attitude before the change happens. Hearing the vulnerability with your conversation with your pastor, that was a close second. Excellence in the ordinary. I appreciate the transparency. And the passion.

Im glad you guys took the time to put this together but bit disappointed that a few missed the cut: 1. "Learning to say No" 2. "the victim and the hero" 3. "You. Can. Do. This" 4. "you cannot wander out of debt" 5. "you are NOT entitled to anything" 6. "think America" 7." You need a written budget" 8. "Passivity is NEVER an option" 9. "You can be a millionaire" 10. "foundations of building wealth" 11. "You are the secret sauce" 12. "throw yourself a convention" 13. "You are not stuck!" Maybe a part 2 😀😀😀😀😀

I'm a single mom making $99000 to $107000 a year...bought a timeshare to force me to go on vacation (...I know, I know). Using my points from my rewards card to pay the maintenance fees (...I know, I know). At any rate, my student loan debt felt like Mt Everest. And today this is my only debt. After listening to what other people are going through, my heart is changing on the possibilities of the life I can give to my son and younger family members. If nothing else, the idea of being a millionaire will start with me. The dream of leaving a scholarship fund for single moms or children of single parent homes seems so real again. Its not too late. Just have to hang in there....Hold on and pray the Lord continues to give me strength to keep pushing! 💪🙌🧗

The Dave Ramsey Show All of it (which we've repeatedly heard during the past 5 weeks since we ran across him - thank you!), however, our fave is "court your wife". We looked at one another, giggled, and had to Pause the video to discuss it. :D My yummy hubby recounts our story on how he courted me for 3-1/2 years before he proposed (Yes, a hard catch... ;D •blush•). He has continued to court me for the past 16 years... the single best 16 years of my life! God selected a man for me who far exceeds any and every dream I ever had for myself. ♡ Yummy hubby ♡ is my lifetime best friend, soul mate, and confidante. Dave, once again, is one hundred percent correct! Thank you, Sir! :D

Rant 3 spoke to me----After 20 years of living "normal", I had enough. I went to my wife and told her how concerned I was that we were "one catastrophe away from homeless". She straight up told me "You have fun saving your money, I'm going to live". That right there killed our marriage. 4 years later we were separated then divorced after 25 years. She is a nurse practitioner making 100k a year and I work at Walmart for just above minimum wage. She is over 100k in debt and defaulted on several loans. Me; I'm only 5k in debt, and paying of quickly, no defaults, and $6000 in savings and just started a 401k. I'm needing a car and I have been considering financing a cheap car but I'm hearing Dave in my mind screaming NOOOO!!!! haahahaha.

Growing up in a house where debt is treated like the devil and things were only bought with hard cash, I didn't even know it was possible to buy ANYTHING without actually having the money yourself until I was 20 years old and people told me about their car payments. It's actually weird for me that people in the US do this, people called me crazy when I said I wanted to save money to buy houses, condos, and cars all with cash. Going into debt is weird to me.

My husband and I are 32. We are the only one out of our group of friends who have 401ks and IRAs we currently have at least the match percentage but are going to up it soon. We also are the only ones who pay extra every month on our mortgage payment and we have only ever bought used cars when we NEEDED them. Last vehicle purchase we made was a used van because we were having our 3rd child and couldn't fit 3 carseat in our sedan. While our friends are not only buying new cars but traiding them in while they are upside down on them digging deeper and deeper holes. They also are buying campers and boats and trips to Las Vegas. We not be doing things like that and they may pitty us for not "living" but it's just a matter of time until it really catches up to them. We only make 55k a year yet we are the most financialy stable. We have paid off alot of student debt and are pretty close to paying it all off,we have no credit card debt, we do have a 200 a month car payment and a 600 a month morgage. We also have some medical bills but they are paid with a pretaxed HSA. We are now looking into a bigger home to fit our family and keeping this home as an investment property. Our friends are the first 2 little piggies and we are the 3rd. When that big bad retirement wolf comes we will see who's house stands

You know what's funny about education? In school, you're taught to work and save money to buy something you want, but in college Finance classes, they start teaching you how debt is VERY GOOD. In one of my finance classes, we were looking at a company's own financial analysis in the Bloomberg database. The company had no debts at all and was very financially stable, the teacher then says that the company should go into debt because they're not using their money efficiently. LOL
