I very much do not want to be near antisemitism! In 1492, Columbus wasn't the only person the Spanish monarchy sent sailing. We can reduce the spread of antisemitism by differentiating the secular Netanyahu Administration and Zionism from the Jewish people as a whole. In 72 AD the Roman destruction of Jerusalem didn't end Judaism and the destruction of Gaza today will not end Hamas, and a lot of Jewish people would rather not be associated with the indiscriminate bombing that has killed thousands of children and left thousands of people in residential areas buried under rubble. I hope that the world does not see all Americans as MAGA extremists with guns who espouse racist ideas and I hope that Jews are not judged by the extremists of Israel. We can reduce antisemitism by keeping reason and truth in the process, but I know that's a lot to ask.
