As someone who is new to the game the first thing i noticed was how small the gap is between the higher and lower bench numbers of classes. It's impressive and amazing to see how effectively you can do well on any class if the effort is there. Was worried Warden would be a horrible dps class due to some forum feedback and tier lists but it seems it can do quite well if the effort and gear is there. Thanks for the video!

I really wanna get into bow/bow stamplar.. but i can never give up jabs despite it being "dead". Also using the 2h execute on bb is pretty interesting for stamden. ty for showing me some cool things :D As for the dummy parse thing, my rule of thumb generally is try it on the dummy if it performs well try it solo on a WB or three to see how it performs with actual mechanics if it performs well at both of these it will be fine in pretty much 95% of the content.

The "improved" magicka Blastbones is a mess imo. I tried it a little. First the dot rotation doesn´t work cuz you don´t get corpses to use the siphon as semi spam. So you need a real spammable most of the time. The dmg is lower by roughly 5k than the stam blastbones (i´ve a stam and magcro char) with the same set up (skull spammable + dots and stam/mag blastbones). You can´t rly sustain the stam morph on magcro. Bc of that you do lower dmg by default on magcro. Also the whole rotation with the new blastbones felt idk kinda weird, wrong?

Something I'd like to see included is no-pet sorc. While other classes have stam v mag, for pve, sorc seems to have 4 different options, stam v mag and pet v no pet. This would be helpful to get information out there for zos who are currently focussing on no-pet sorc (according to their blurb about U41 changes) that would help them make better targeted changes that have more impact than "radius increase to lightning splash"... Hopefully if enough gets changed properly they can revert the "temporary" over buff to prey they made in U35 after theu gutted the class that patch since it would no longer be required to carry the class kit in pve.

@@skinnycheeks Nice, yeah around the 125-130k was what I saw in week 1 of the PTS. Hopefully they can also be included in the next comparison as it's a more popular playstyle than most realise (just never ran/shown off because pets are just objectively stronger thanks to preys absurd 45% damage buff), but it would still be good to see the numbers on it, especially now that ZOS is finally paying some real attention to that playstyle after deleting then ignoring it for 5+ years. I remember when I was searching for a no-pet build back when U40 dropped, the only one I could fine was one from pre-Nekrom (i.e. really outdated) that was significantly behind even necro/warden/NB sitting at barely 110k DPS or an off meta build (with overwhelming surge) that had sub 90k DPS.

Maelstrom 2h adds dmg to each direct dmg hit. So with force pulse it adds 3 times, or with bound armaments, 4 times. C frags is still great, just doesn’t benefit as much as those from the 2h

Been using a similar setup on my stam warden for a long time. Was Blooddrinker and Pillars, but swapped to Aegis instead. Both do bleed damage and are buffed by blooddrinker.

WeaveDelays It doesnt show which skills are next, but it shows you which skills he just casted and how fast his light attack weave was on that particular skill

Dude, I got a question. I do PvE and PvP casually, so I'm not sure whether to morph Grim Focus into Merciless Resolve or Relentless Focus, same goes for Siphoning Strikes morphing into Siphoning Attacks or Leeching Strikes. What do you think I should go with?

Def siphoning attacks. For grim focus, it’s usually merciless if you can sustain it, but relentless is good to if the stam drain works better for your sustain.

i noticed for the stamina warden off meta bloodrinkers setup they opted to use deep fissure over sub. why is this ? i parsed with sub and had stam issues so i ran lava foot for sustain. i’m wondering if they are using green stam food and mag beetles to even sustain out. but then i feel like you’d loose out on dmg and would need to recast beetles after first burst. need some insight on that pls

I tested Ele Sus on Arcanist briefly and it did not seem to be better than Scalding Rune. My parses are not as precise as the ones you quote, though. It is close enough to be a good option in content, when bosses tend to move out of the rune.

Definitely, if your weaving is poor the velothi amulet is a great dps increase, you would just change up one of your cp to fighting finesse to max out critical damage on the dummy

What do you think about the new status effect changes? Is it worth it to stray from the tried and tested fire + poison glyphs? Supposedly the direct damage procs should now be more powerful and compete with the damage over time procs like fire and poison... Not seen any proper testing of this yet...

For enchants Fire/Poison are still the 2 best single target enchants. Befoulded (Diseased)/Absorb Stam (Sundered) are the best AoE enchants. If you already have a high burning uptime as a DK for example, you can drop the Fire enchant and take another one like Absorb Stam. Backbar is still Infused + Berserker as far as i know. However, some classes can do funky things like a Sorc with Shock backbar or Warden with Frost backbar.

Hmm, I've always wanted to have this fire atronarch dummy, it imitates a few more combat situations than usual dummies. But buying it in the crown shop for 40 bugs is a lot of cash. I spent the entire game with eso plus collected the free crowns to unlock all the maps and dungeons, of course I had to spend the money on the obligatory DLC. Otherwise, once everything has been activated, eso plus will be canceled. Don't worry about the trash bag, there are 20 playable characters and an internal bank and a separate guild that offers another 500 item slots to sort all the materials. It's a short habit that takes 2 weeks to get used to. After that everything is free

gravelord's sacrifice is so awkward to use. Not only are you gonna have to use skulls to create corpses at enemies, but siphoning it would most times cast on the gravelord's corpse on you instead of enemies.

this could not be further from the truth man. Dummy parsing is a great testing environment and is the absolute best place to learn (and master) weaving and rotations. Is it a perfect 1 to 1 translation? absolutely not but to discount it entirely is just ignorant and foolish. How do you think the best pure single target setups that are used in content each and every patch are determined? They are determined on the dummy. Console players don't have combat metrics either. Parsing on a dummy and watching people's PoV's is all we really have on console to test/troubleshoot things. Without dummy parses we would still be killing dungeon bosses and doing math to calculate DPS lol

Sadly I feel like the last 30k or maybe 30% of the dps is still locked behind how much you can abuse the core mechanics of animation canceling or just using a script maybe (which is bannable? if they catch you) which is pretty sad. In normal content I can probably beat most players since they can't just afk parse monke, but dummy parsing is almost useless to me as a metric at this point, except if you compare it with your own parses and not abusers or parse monkes that do this for a living.

Its not big secret or script, it's literally just press light attack and skill every 1 second. Most of these parses are from ry also who has been in several world records so I doubt you can outdamage him in content just because you feel like you should be able to
