Nice one as usual. Good call on the SKB's. I have 2 Ithaca SKB's. One 500 in 20Ga. One 600 in 12/mod/full for late season walk up. Great guns. Never fail. Had them in the family for many decades. Always the guest gun. Everyone loves them.

SKB 500 is a phenomenal shotgun. The triggers are superb as is the action. They shoot like a dream. Here people do know what they are and they sell in a heartbeat. Very good quality guns. And most we're made in Japan by a couple different good makers.

Getting on a bit as the youngest was probably made in the mid 1980's so spares can be a little iffy but a Winchester 101 can be got for £500 and were considered one of the best handling guns of all time back in the day. Walnut stocks, Prince of Wales grips on some, nice engraving and made in Japan when they led the world with their quality manufacture. Browning's were also made there at the time and are amazing guns.

Love your videos and surprised to hear you mention SKB again. My father had an Ithaca SKB 500 o/u that I grew up shooting. I found one of my own a few year's back in new condition, fully embellished (top grade), and possibly never fired. Its stamped "Ithaca guns of Canada, Dunville Ontario", haven't seen another like it. I also own an Ithaca SKB 200e sxs in very good condition. They are not the fanciest guns, but are very good shooters and well built.

I love Lanber shotguns..my all time favorite. I've been shooting a 12ga sporting one for years now. Love that shotgun. I have more expensive ones but my favorite is the Lanber for sure. Wish I could find more here in the states specially the sporting ones. They have a ton in the UK but I have not found anyone that would import those for a reasonable price. Keep up the good work guys. I am a fan of the channel and always glad to see that clay shooting is so popular in the UK. Is in my bucket list to go over there and shoot some sporting clays with the Brits. Hopefully it will happen soon. Cheers to all!!!!

I have watched a number of your videos today. Both you and David the shooting instructor have touted the AYA shotguns. Some time ago, you reviewed anXXV by AYA. I was fortunate enough to use some Churchill XXVs when I was a teen. One of my dad’s friends had a bunch of them. At any rate, the 25 inch barrels suited me as did the Robert Churchill method. I have wanted an XXV for a very long time. have never been able to afford one. I know you Brits like longer barrels and the 12 gauge. Here in the Southeastern USA we hunt quail and a short fast handling gun serves the purpose better than a long barreled gun. You mentioned how cheaply the AYAs could be bought use in the UK. It is rather rare to even see one in the classified here. So, if you have one CHEAP! I would be interested. A 20 gauge with open chokes is the thing or even a 28 gauge. I am not good enough to use a 410. The 410 is an expert;s gun when hunting Bob White quail in South GA. Also there is a scarcity of the Miroku OU in 20 gauge here as well. The ones we see are under the Charles Daly brand. Miroku built them from 1963 until 1976. The original guns were dead copies of the Browning Superposed. Again if I can get a 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels choked imp.cyl and mod. At a cheap price I would like to obtain one. That is where you come in, get me a very good price and ship it to my FFL so we comply with the law, I sure would appreciate it. My email is fishindul@aol.com. Help me if you can. Thank you, Dave Bishop Athens, GA.

Here in my area of the US over under shotguns are normally $400 minimum. Most are imported from Italy or Turkey. It's super fascinating to see every day shotgun prices. An entry level break action shotgun normally costs around 100-150 dollars here. Side by side shotguns are 300 dollars for the cheap Chinese clones and over-unders are normally 400+. Also double guns are pretty much non-existent in the US. It's super fascinating to see how different gun prices are in our areas of the free world. :) Keep doing great work and we'll keep supporting you

@@PhallusCooper Point taken, but one of my favorite gun stores is a small town hardware store in Texas...a very small town....and they carry double barrel rifles. I would have picked one up for myself but they were in brutally large calibers and I'm too old for that kind of abuse. I see where Cabela's does sell a black powder Pedersoli reproduction of a double barrel Kodiak rifle that I find tempting, but I can't say I've come across any others here in Texas.
