Have own a model 56 for quite a few years. It was given to me by one of my uncles as a present on my 18th birthday (I'm 58 now). He bought it for himself but shooting wasn't his thing so he passed it on to me. Beautifully made, lovely to shoot and a joy to look at! When it comes to historical Spanish gun manufacturers, AYA is up there along with Ignacio Ugartechea and Victor Sarasqueta (of whom I also own guns)

I liked the comment on the 25-inch. When you go against the fashion you feel that good sense has deserted you. But going back to basics is reassuring. A 25-inch is, indeed, a soldier's gun. Useful in the ravine.

I started with a single 410 hammer AYA as a kid, went through various guns including pump, then had a nice AYA boxlock for a few years. After a spell without a shotgun I now own a very nice, if rather short No.2 that is really great for driven game when they are not that high and are coming in thick and fast!

I wish the aya’s went for those prices in the US. They are definitely pulling bigger money here. I would have several at those prices.

Nice to see them cooing over the 25. I have one, with a single trigger, that I just couldn't pass up in the local gun shop and I love it. Beautiful little gun Also got a Yeoman O/U but have had to leave it in the cabinet until I can get it repaired. The ejectors are worn out and letting the odd cartridge slip past. Love the AYA's - great guns.

Thanks for the peek at the Matador number two I have one in 10 gauge and hand load for everything from Deer to Bob White quail. 3 oz loads down to Oz and 1/8 load. I love the lines of the gun and the case hardening. I'm a neanderthal so the heft doesn't bother me that much. Great video enjoyed it ,good hunting! Rick of Orange

Great video, so thank you for that 🙂, my first twin barrel shotgun was a AYA No4. But I'd give my eye teeth fot that stunning 410 pigeon AYA shotgun. I'd love to see you make a video on black powder shotguns, both muzzle loading and cartridge. I'm very bias towards them as I've been shooting them for over forty years. Please keep on making these videos.

Such a great informative video, it's good to see a nice line-up of the different models and variations. Got a mint Yeoman the day after my licence arrived in August on your recommendation, just want a nice no4 and no2 in the new year and I'll be happy. Thank you for satisfying my AyA needs!

Love aya's. Great barrrels, great wood, good quality blueing and nice balance on Nr 4 upwards. You always could rely on a Nr4 BLE which was half the cost of anything else of simikar quality. Regret selling mine for a Silver Pidgeon!
