I make a RED salad. Red cabbage, roasted beets, strawberries, cranberries , Purple onions, and anything else red I can think of. It’s odd looking at first but delicious If I add a teaspoon of miracle whip it’s a pink salad! LOL

Wow, very powerful presentation - thank you for this information! I’m going to listen to the first part again. I’ve been battling depression for the last 15 or so years and have done just about everything to treat it besides this. I’d heard of nutritional psychiatry and was aware of the connection between diet and depression, but I didn’t realize to what extent until now. I’m on a three-week cleanse right now eating a bunch of fruits, veggies, fish, whole grains, etc. and I’m realizing how much what I eat impacts how I feel. I’m committed to keeping the good feels going after the cleanse is over and giving my brain what it needs to function optimally. So appreciative for this video - thanks again! 🙏🏽

@@Zonyafoco Thank you so much for the encouragement! I was watching some more of your videos during meal prep today and considering taking a class with you. I think this might be the last piece of the puzzle for my depression treatment along with some of the weight I’ve gained from meds and not eating as well as I could. Appreciate you!

@zonyafoco81222 жыл бұрын
Vaccinated or not, preparing ourselves for our date with COVID is very important. I suggest doing everything in this video plus take Vit D (2,000 - 5,000 IU per day), 30 mg of Zinc, and 1,000 mg of Vit c 2 times per day. A good one a day vit in addition is not a bad idea. Exercise, and get your sleep! hope this helps and take care and be safe!

Where did you get your big plastic prep container for all the veggies?
@mwilson78428 ай бұрын
Use glass for all food storage. Micro plastics leach into our food and gets into our bodies. Start saving glass jars like large mouth pickle jars and put all foods into those after bringing food home from the grocers. I'm in the process of banning all plastic storage containers from my kitchen. Also plastic wraps and bags should not come in contact with our food. Just spreading the word. 💕

If you check into what Dr. Mindy Yelps says about fasting, you can learn how to sit outside in the morning and afternoon sun to adjust some hormones . That’s free. You can eat only when it’s light outside. That’s also free. You can eat your veggies first. That’s Free You can use fresh lemons to detox your body. Lemonade? Might want to drink lemonade 3 X a week, or as many a week as you can afford. Totally abstain from sugar and unrefined foods.

I don't believe that your so-called science is correct about eating meat. A friend of mine who is in her 80's had high cholesterol, so her doctor took her off all red meats. Then, at her next appointment, she was Anemic. Her doctor then told her to eat what she was always eating, because she is a very healthy lady. Like my grandmother always said: "a little bit of everything, and not too much of anything. I do like your videos about eating real foods. The secret is variety, including meats. Too many of the Vegetrian friends I know are Anemic! "Vegetarians have a high prevalence of depleted iron stores. A higher proportion of vegetarians, compared to nonvegetarians, had iron deficiency anemia."
