Hi Chris! I recommend : + Apogee Soft Limiter + Valhalla Supermassive + Fuse Audio Labs VREV 666 + the AudioModern gate filter and pan plugins are useful too esp for EDM But yes Deelay is dope !! And so are you my friend, I always learn cool Cubase & prod tricks from you :D

Chris I'm having an issue with some of my projects in Cubase 12. They were playing perfectly the other day now there is no sound. but other more recent projects new ones play not a bother. If I go into Cubase in safe mode the tracks play. So I was thinking it might be an old plugin but that's not the case, I decided to bypass them all, there is still no output to the master bus, so that seems to be the main issue but my routing is correct so I'm a Bit lost. I have a stereo bus where all my groups and effects are sent then I send that whole stereo signal to the master. but the master output is not receiving the stereo bus signal. So long story short.... What do you think the problem is ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you my friend. All the best

That's probably because your Audio Files linked to your Cubase project were moved or deleted from the project's Audio Folder, so Cubase cannot find the Audio files.

There is no "analog tube" sound as such for delay(to my knowledge, if anyone knows different please enlighten me, but read the full comment before you do, tube pre amp dont count), Analog delays used Chipsets (transistors) to create delay, some of them included Tube pre amps, but thats a pre amp, not a delay circuit I know what you meant though. The warmth in Analog delays comes from the Chips(transistors) each repeat cuts some low and hi off and has slightly quality loss, meaning each repeat is softer and more "lo fi" than the last. This is because the chips are not actually very good at reproducing sound perfectly, they present "artifacts" and distortion, but they are pleasant artifacts and distortion. So you have famous delays that had re amps some were tube some were transistor, but the delay (as far as I know) was always from transistors. I am sure it might be possible to make a tube delay where the circuit actually makes the delay from Tube interactions, I kind of want to hear what that sounds like

Working with cubase for a long time now (since cb5) and always had the feeling i didn't get the most out of it and your courses show me that that is true. I use some of the stuff here, the Nembrini delay, the Baby Audio Baby Come Back delay, and the Kiive Warmy, all really good plugins Some great free stuff not on this list *Tokyo Dawn Labs all of their free plugins are brilliant (Nova dynamic EQ, Slick EQ, Molotok) *Klanghelm, again all their free plugins are brilliant (DC1A opti style comp, IVGI saturation, MJUCjr vari mu comp and pure glue factory, pure instant vibe and pumpy comp if you like that, it colours even without compressing) *Audio Assault Headcrusher , tape saturation plugin, I actually prefer it to the full Paid version, and you also cant get the same sound out of the paid plugin, this plugin is amazing for fattening up stuff , very simple to use, and sounds killer *Acustica Audio - Coffe The Pun, this was free not sure if it still is, but its a really brilliant Pultec emulator, better than the Warmy (although I use the Warmy its a decent eq), IMO the best Pultec plugin I have heard, paid or unpaid, very CPU heavy though *Vallhala Super Massive, top tier Delay, verb and modulation plug in, so smooth, so much control for a free plugin, up there with anything paid, *Pancake 2 Cable Guys, brilliant pan tool, lets you draw pan curves and set different mad patterns, brilliant tool *TAL Reverb 2, just a really good verb, simple, great sounding *Klevgrand Free Amp, Tape/tube saturator, people......put this on bass guitar, trust me , it does great things to bass, really helps it solid up, ad sit great in a mix *Analog Obsession FETISH, basically sort of like an 1176, its not exact but its that sort of thing and it sounds great *Melda Audio, the Melda free bundle is huge (20+ plugins) and most of them are great, their Dynamic EQ is really really good, if you cant afford Fabfilter get this and Tokyo Dawn Labs Nova and you can do a lot of what Fabfilter does, plus the other plugins are also really good EVERY single plugin I have listed here makes it onto 99% of my tracks
