I watched "Slammin" Sammy Miller do a 3.58 sec, 386 mph at Santa pod back in 1984.......its never been topped. Very odd to see someone who looked and sounded like a chartered accountant strap into something so ridiculously quick, people next to me literally didnt believe what they had just seen! These guys are in a different level of mad though, 1500 bhp in your throttle hand, no roll cage and nowhere to hide if you cant get her stopped. Impressive....

+Dirt Dude Our motors don't have clutch covers, we use an external MTC centrical clutch. So it was probably the intake manifold.

Haven't been to Wisconsin lately? Victory from Minnesota and Harley from Wisconsin share tech info and both build some of the best bikes ever. Only H-D's that had any outsource was the induction system on the Vrod the rest of the bike was engineered right here, Oh and the dirt bikes in the 70's and 80's.

this is in the 1/4 mile - these bikes are the equivalent of NHRA Top Fuel dragsters. They are way faster than the NHRA prostock bikes. It's just a shame more people aren't aware of them.

jep 1500 hp estimated so not that bad ;) its limited be regulations becasue theyr enngine have 1600 cc ,they shpuld do class whithout any regulations for anybidy who want to broke record on 1/4 mile thats give some new fresh in this sport also give new record ofcorse much more dangerous which is also now quiet big because hit in wall on right or left with speed close to 400 km.h is not to good i Wonder how fast on 1/4 mile is absolutely border for human physiology me calculator say the same g all the way to end as pilot in f16 so around 10-12 g befor you loss your senses that be higly risk unless those vehicle have some security , 12 g all the way to end on 1/4 mile that should be nice view .
