Been trying all these maps firshand and i can say for sure that the best option is just stick to dragonfall, with a good commander you can literally chain events nonstop endlessly farming the 3 routes, gaining keys and defeating champions and opening chest until you meet te requeriments to figth kralkatorrik, and then another champion rush at the end, and all the time getting volatile magic passive and actively, and the downtime until the map resets and start again is about 5mins you don't have to switch maps, you don't have to check timers, and there's always ppl doing dragonfall train, regardless if you go alone or with a guild, most of the time there's just not enough ppl doing the metas on the other maps to do em, like, is a pain in the butt to get the oil meta in thunderhead south to get started for example

While I agree, there are some benefits for doing the train instead. First, like MM said, it's not stale. You see different biomes and not the same enemies over and over again. Second, you gain mats for those zones instead of only getting mistborn motes. If you are working on Aurora, this is very helpful. This also means you don't need to convert the mats back and forth to the ones you might need.

I think it's more about volatile magic and karma gain if you get both empowerments on the maps.
