Thank you, I’m new here, I was researching what’s trending. No, I don’t follow trends for my home. I have a friend and I help her with the displays in her small thrift shop. It’s helpful to know what people are looking for, or may be looking for in the next year, it influences displays, pricing and whether we pass the donations on to other places. I rarely purchase new items, and my style leans cottage. I like that I don’t have a “set of furniture. I buy or make, or make over to suit my needs and style. Our homes are as individual as our families, just as we feel comfortable being ourselves, I feel comfortable making my home individual. I buy what I like, when I’m bored with it, after a number of years, or find it doesn’t function right, after a number of months, it goes, or I remake it.thanks again, I’ll be back 😊
