I’ve been having to open my lg and move clothes around for a few months thinking it was the clothes. I was thinking it was to much of a load for a while then washed a child’s softball jersey by it’s self and it did it so much I just gave up on the spin and put in dryer. I’m doing this to my lg this weekend. My hats off to you. I’ll let you know if it fixes mine

Brandon Ivey this should fix your issue and if you dont have zip ties, i used hose clamps on other models i fixed. I was able to get the hose tighter with the clamps.

Looked up the ID of the hose and it's 1.25 ID and 1.5OD Hope this helps

sad to say it did not and was an electronic board that needed to be replaced....$400 ouch.

There is no need for a follow up video with clothes added in. This has been an issue with suspended tub washing machines for over 20 years since back when GE started making their washers this way. The weight of the clothes added in would give an even better more stable and centered result than what he shows at the end here. The basket hangs from the 4 suspension rods and the weight of the basket pulls each rod at the same time which results in the basket being Centered. Over time one or more and sometimes all 4 springs lose thier strength and in theory become shorter and to fix it you just have to make the spring longer again. You can do this hose trick or use inch long pvc pipe with a cut in it and lift the spring and put the pvc around the rod so the spring rests on it. Or do the same with a small stack of metal washers. The washers always bottomed out and made a scraping noise while spinning or agitating and a new set of rods that are made to fail cost $240 back in the day. And i always used metal washers which cost around 65 cents. All these appliance manufacturers build all their appliances to purposefully fail with 3 to 5 years. And that purpose is to make sure you are back in the store buying again in that time. And governments around the world know this and d ok nothing even though its robbery. So dont mistake it for Samsung not having appliances figured out yet. If they can make phones do what they do. Appliances are a cakewalk. But thier profits go down if everyone had appliances lasting 20+ years like they used too. And theyve gotten smart and started covering electronic control boards in these machines with hard epoxy resin and marking the replacement ones up to the price of a new appliance to deter you from fixing it. Moral of the story is that when your appliance starts having any issue they know about when and why that problem will start and they are smiling knowing your about to bring them more money. This is fact.

Ghana Garland have you tried washing something. It still should be loose but it will balance the load so the springs dont flex to hard
