For those unaware, Koji Mori is Kentaro Miura’s best friend and a fellow Mangaka. Mori was the only person that Miura told the full story of Berserk. Since he knew the whole story, he believed that Miura would be disappointed in him for not finishing it in his stead. That being said, Mori vowed to tell the story exactly how Miura explained with nothing extra added. He has to be the only person for the job to finish Berserk, no one else on earth has had a more personal connection to Miura.

I'm also following the Trash Taste boys (even though I'm a lot behind on the main uploads), primary and secondary channels for Garnt and Joey (I like Connor a lot too, but I'm not too much into watching streams). I know it’ll be controversial, but if the series is to continue I feel it’s it good hands for that to happen.

@jeremias-serus2 жыл бұрын
Normie is a relative term. You can absolutely be a normie within the animesphere. You like AOT. You think Mappa is a quality studio. You think FMA/Monster/Steins;Gate is the best anime. Etc. Of course speaking more broadly in society, animanga consumers are somewhat less normie.
@bus39572 жыл бұрын
@@jeremias-serus That is odd. Because as someone who hasn't really watched much anime but want to start, I see anime fans as somehow more normie than most people. I have no idea when this was filmed but I’m happy we’re getting more Berserk chapters. I don’t think it’s disrespectful at all considering he trained his assistant personally to work on Berserk and put his faith in him to do his job. Plus the Holyland author was a close friend of Miura so there’s no better person to work on it. It’s more disrespectful imo to doubt Miura’s assistant considering Miura himself trained him and put his faith in him.
@War6242 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I think some people are taking it too much to heart. Miura wouldn't have trained his assistants if he didn't find them to be talented enough. He might've not assumed they'd carry on, as you said, there's no one better to do it then the team, and Mori. From what I've read, Mori and Miura were practically conjoined twins, having been best buds for like 40 years. And I've not read the new chapter, been I've seen scans of it, and the art at least still looks amazing.

Man, hearing the bois and Jack talk about paying for signatures hits hard with me and my cringe. I went to my first ever convention earlier this year, a local con, and the voice actress for Ash Ketchum was there. As a big Pokemon fan, I was super excited, so of course I went to her table to get a signature. It was pretty empty with only a few people (everyone else wanted to see Vic Mignogna), so I nervously went over with my Ash's Pikachu Pokemon card and asked for a signature. She took a look at it and then directed me to a sign next to a guy selling cards for WAY more than they're worth, and she basically said "That one will cost $100," which was for the highest rarity, even though this was a promo card, which wasn't listed on the sign at all in the first place. As a broke ass weeb, I didn't have that kind of money, and even if I did it was NOT worth having her name on my card, so I just said "oh, ok," nervously looked around for my friend, and then just left, shaking pretty hard from nerves. Never again.
