For everyone asking, D1 college in the US plays lets because there was a crapload of cheating. People would hit aces and the other player would just call a let.

@camisolah13934 жыл бұрын
@@tybo6376 the ball touches the net and then falls in the oponent area. If it falls off its out and they go second serve. Let you repeat the 1st serve

Yeah, I re-watched that a few times and couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought I was crazy for a minute. I didn't know that was a rule in college tennis. Interesting.

@abulwaliuzzaman7884 жыл бұрын
@@mateusfairbairn he's not wrong lol there is a reason why college players are struggling when they turn pro, tatics they are not able to attempt to get the ball on the rise, and with short balls, they are not attacking when they are supposed to be more or less we could get destroyed by them, doesn't mean @leomerya12 was wrong
@alexcrabtree3904 жыл бұрын
You wouldn’t get a point off anyone in the entire video stupid
@mateusfairbairn4 жыл бұрын
Yeah you have a point maybe I got a little too heated. I just constantly see low-level amateur players on youtube saying “oh this guy sucks” to top-level college players. Although I disagree with the statement that college players are worse tactically and that’s why they struggle. The fact is, juniors who are good enough to go on tour at 18 and make money will do so; juniors who are not as good will get a scholarship and be able to compete for 4 years until they mature enough to play pro. Its not like there’s some kind of tactical difference between college and non-college players. If serving and volleying was a better tactic, then there would be serve and volley kids at the top of college game. The game has changed since the 60s
@Leomerya124 жыл бұрын
@@mateusfairbairn With respect, you need to understand what people are saying, before you get emotionally involved. I never said they sucked or weren't good players. Cursing people out from the jump is going to betray you as a source of logic. The only person who insulted anyone here is you.
