In times where self-defense is of the utmost priority and Second Amendment supporters are under attack, there are several reasons to own a gun.
Perhaps the one gun that is the most versatile and can cover any role is the AR-15.
In this video, we will go over the top 5 reasons to own an AR-15.

Yep, the AR-15 platform is a good all around fun tool, and is very user friendly. If SHTF, it's a great choice to have by your side... Every American should own at least one AR, and be proficient with it. The AR-15 is an American symbol of freedom! 🇺🇸💪💥💥💥😉

@El Mostrito It's because Assault Rifle, or weapon is a made up Marxist reference, to vilify a tool designed to preserve, protect, and defend freedom... The exact opposite of what the United States Constitution stands for. I refuse to use the these terms when referring to any firearms, and am not shy about correcting people when they do... I'm a proud American, and I'm not ashamed of any aspect of that. I'm also an oath keeper. Communism doesn't have a place here... I'm ready, willing, and able if the call ever comes to thwart tyranny. 💯❤🇺🇸

@El Mostrito I understand, and I'm with you. I make the point to correct improper nomenclature, so that we do not normalize Leftist propaganda labels. If the Marxists called it what it really is, a rifle ban, or a gun ban, they would not have the ability to media hype their anti-American propaganda. I'm 100% with you on what we, by Second Ammendment definition, are able to bear, and it totally includes all military firearms. I don't go around preaching, but if they opportunity presents itself, I will casually not hesitate to educate anyone that doesn't understand our rights, particularly the Second Ammendment. Some people are hopelessly brainwashed, or Marxist supporters... Same difference.. Then there are the trolls on Facebook. Everyone gets a courteous shot, except the fb trolls. I understand your frustration.

@@michaelw.urbansr.8617 Sweet, just get the Wife out shooting... It's more fun, and no complaints about the ammo cans stacking up... Unless ofcourse, they start running low on ammo. I was looking at building an AR-10, it's on my list of things to do sometime, just not sure how useful it would be... I know it would be fun though. I was thinking about getting a Remington 700 in 7mm mag for a deer rifle. My Dad had one when I was a kid, and I really liked it... a really flat accurate shooter with the hand loads he made.

@@clutchcargo1239 yeah after buying a Savage Axis I in 6.5Creedmoor i have decided to get a Rem. 700 chambered in 308 or 7mm mag for more of my tactical ,long range gun although my Axis will surely do the trick.I just think something like the Rem700 in 30-06 or something like 7mm-08 or 7mm mags would be better for longer ranges and more accurate?But yeah its been great getting back into shooting after a Looooooong time away from the sport/past time!!! I cant get enough its just that fun to plnk,hunt,comp. shooting! Our American rights/liberties are just awesome and need to be saved!!! either way we have food for up to three years for 6 people and water purification for over 2million gals.Plenty of TP and other items for moral and barter uses!All i have been doing is buying ammo in bulk for 7yrs now! after Obama i knew that the SHTF soon!Americans need to be prepared at the least to protect them selves,family and fellow Citizens!!! I just hope we all stand up to save our country and very way of life!!!?

totally agree! About 10yrs ago in my small area of New Jersey at the southern shore.In recent years we have had gangs move into the area Bloods/Crips and so on.We started to have home invasions and it got so bad they were doing it in broad daylight while some people were home.At the time i hadnt touched a firearm in tears.I mean as a kid/teen i used shotguns and rimfire rifles of course(schools still had shooting clubs)and went to the gun club with my grandfather all the time. After graduating high school in 1982 i went into the Navy and had to qualify with a M-16 and 1911 chambered in .22LR. During my military service i only had to qualify with firearms annually.After the service i just never purchased a firearm and for some reason never gave it a thought again?Once we had the home invasions and the fact i have a wife and 3 daughters i felt the need to have a firearm in the home.After taking it to the range a few times i was hooked again.Nothing like being able to exercise your rights and have a ball doing it. But in these times i have choose to take more shoot and scoot training. Clean homes and forcing people out of buildings and positions.More like combat training as i was in the navy we just didnt have to train like the Army,and Marines.Of course we had to stay physically fit but unless you were special forces or a Seal then it wasnt house clearing ,lets just say.hehe But i have started collecting ARs and some other types of firearms,such as WWII and other historical guns. But i want shooters,not just wall hangers.I will use what i buy so im not looking for top shelf pretty antiques,but real life working firearms.I love those with trench art!!Anywa im glad i found your channel i will be checking it out! loved it!

I like the AK-47 better than the AR-15. It's easy to field-strip, and it won't fail to shoot, even in the worst conditions.

I understand that but you also have to understand there have been a ton of upgrades to ARs in recent years and some ARs will shoot just as reliably as an AK these days! Especially direct inpin!!!

All good. My opinion about the AR-15 is that it's simply the best rifle. Every high school student must take an AR-15 semester cleaning and target practice course, on campus, if possible or use local rifle range with HS teachers. Not about making kids into soldiers but about teaching them the picture of understanding the rifle; once learned it will stay with them.

That would require high school students to not be fucked up and deal with mental health. tons of young individuals in todays U.S have childhood trauma that they have consciously forgotten but subconsciously it sticks with them. but we definitely need to educate the young about weapons in general at a young age. unless they are a psychopath they tend to respect life more when they have experienced guns in a controlled environment with parent supervision and training.

Love 2A, love GOA but still not sold on the AR-15. Sorry. Was at the car wash Friday and got into a conversation with a fellow vet who advocates the AR-15. I told him that I would hate to go into combat with a .22. He said, yes, but if you shoot a guy in the ankle with it, it's liable to come out the top of his head. Maybe so, but it can also be deflected by a twig, then fly off in any direction. My .35 Remington Model 81 will take the twig (and probably the whole branch) with it and still hit the target.

Sweet AR pistol for sure, but just FYI, it's not a "reece." It's a recce, short for reconnaissance and pronounced like "reck ee." Don't mean to bust your chops. Just thought you might want to know. :)

Why can't I add the vertical grip?
@bryantc2899
@bryantc2899 2 жыл бұрын
Because the model he has is considered a pistol by the ATF. in theory I'm sure you can add a vertical grip to the pistol style AR. Normal AR rifle you can add a vertical grip, without any objection from the ATF.

Not really true, is it? Prior to the COVID outbreak, the AR-15 was at an all-time low price. It was cheaper than a Glock.

How much is a rifle worth? It's a relative question? Ask those millions who fell to the communist death squads in recent history.....This is reason #1 for AR15s, AR10s, AK47s etc.....
