Been a class A CDL driver for 25 years and for me Freightliner was typically the most reliable and comfortable. Of course depends on what you're using your rig for. For instance Mack does a great job with Dump trucks and trash hauling trucks, Volvo is good at long haul as is Peterbilt and Kenworth, International are best as box trucks, Western Star are great heavy haulers and tow trucks. But for my money I'm getting a Freightliner for almost any over the road hauling. 🤙🏼♥️

They are just like cars. Some have been driven HARD and some have been driven as intended. All have some kind of RECALL! Those trucks from the Czech Republic were just so cool. I wonder how well they would do as Forest fire trucks. They seem to go over any terrain with major pay load. Wow cool truck. I enjoyed this.

@@jeffreycairns767 And which truck do you think is the best?
@jeffreycairns767Ай бұрын
@@CarManufacturing Honestly, it depends on exactly what you're looking for. Personally, I've loved my Western Star 4900EX, 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, and Mack Pinnacle. The newer trucks have either a fancy looking dashboard (Peterbilt, KW) or a plain one (Freightliner, Volvo). I'd have to say that for comfort and looks, Western Star 4900EX. For fuel economy and aerodynamics, Freightliner or Volvo. The Peterbilt 579 would win if the drivers seat wasn't so uncomfortable. I've driven a 2017 & 2023 389 and a 2022 579, and the seats were all the same. They fell like you're leaning towards the center, towards the passengers seat, and thees no way of fixing them except by buying a new, different kind, but not for $2,000+

9:16 _"A Mack truck with a gold plated or chrome bulldog indicates that the truck was made with a Maxidyne engine."_ Incorrect. The gold bulldog symbolizes all of the major driveline components; engine, transmission, and drive axles, were made by Mack. A chrome bulldog indicates one or more of the major driveline components came from another vendor. Also, trucks ordered by United Parcel Service have the MACK name omitted from the grille, and have a tubular aluminum pull handle instead of a bulldog on the hood.

Scania makes these US brands look pitiful, it’s so far advanced that any truck driver who gets to drive the Scania 660s -770S V8 engines will pine for them if they go back on these 1990 US models…In Europe the say there are two types of trucker , those that drive Scanias and the rest who want to drive Scania…I know I drove them from 1974 until I retired in 2020, I only bought them with the V8 engine as they will barnstorm a mountain with their 3700 Nm of torque …
