When it comes to Yugioh's mascots, it's hard to argue against Kuriboh being in the conversation. While their effects have varied throughout the different series and iterations, they all remain lovables balls of whatever they're made of. We'll be going over the best Kuriboh in Yugioh's history. It's not just from a card game perspective, but also how they had a role in the anime or manga, and just how much they fit that mascot aesthetic when you look at them. I think the reason for rainbow kuriboh having 100 attack and 100 defence is because in the anime, Yuma and Astral had to collect 100 number cards to help Astral regain his memories

actually some people believe that relinkuriboh and sphere kuriboh's effects were swapped by accident and were never corrected, since sphere kuriboh's design is supposed to be a reference to The Winged Dragon of Ra and relinkuriboh's effect is helpful for Tribute Summons

Makes so much sense! Just for Ra to have tribute & draw support; even, battle advantage would make sense and its "Sphere" gold. Would've been better too if Relinkuriboh became more ritual support/fodder, and Gy set up after initiating battle protection, especially because ritual cards aren't searchable. So, they need support like this if they were meant to have had swapped effects. (my unrelated opinion): Also, Sphere Kuriboh should've been a complete one whole offer by itself for a ritual summon of any ritual monster for its Gy banish effect, instead of it only counting as 1 of those required levels for the tributes of ritual monsters. Then again maybe it's best this way, who knows?

Id like to think Linguriboh didn't abandon Linkuriboh but it was Ai who abandoned him. I loved Winged Kuriboh better in the manga where it played a central role. The card used to be owned by Koyo Hibiki, Judai's mentor, and has the villain Tragoedia's heart. Since then Tragoedia was hellbent on finding Winged Kuriboh.

Since most Kuri monsters are light or dark and discard to grave, I had tried to make Kuriboh Chaos decks at srveral points. Its usually too slow, even on duek links but a fun deck to attempt. Banishing a couple of them from the grave to pull out a Black Luster Solier does surprise people.

I think with the spell card theme and armor, Winged Kuriboh LV 9 is supposed to be refrencing Breaker the Magical Warrior. Also, OG Winged Kuribog is still annoying as hell in Duel Links. Burn stall decks are still very prevalent, Especially using the Odion trap burn effect. They love to set one of these to make an entire battle phase usless tot he opponent it use a Flute of Summing Kuriboh to do the same mid battle phase as a surprize tactic. Look like they are wide open to lure you so you summon a bunch of boss monsters, make their attacks worthless that battle, then tribute for Lava Golem or draw into traps to snatch them up or something. Crackdown is super annoying right now. It really sucks when you think you have an opening on a dumb stall burn deck, only to attack into a winged Kuriboh and then they draw a crackdown their next turn to snatch your Blue Eyes boss monster. They can't do shit with it, but neither could you, thanks to their cheap stall tactics.

One use for Kuribon.... "Bad Reaction to Smochi" thurns that LP gain into burn damage.... Luna used a similar strategy when she dueled with Kuribon in the anime (but with a worse trap card) and the Tag Force games gave her those early Nurse Burn prototype decks. So I think that was the intention. Maybe Rainbow Kuribohs stats are suppose to be symbolic considering the importance of Numbers in Zexal? As the "Number" monsters are pretty plot important and there were suppose to be 100 of them. LINKURIBOH DID NOTHING WRONG! Konami just doesn't want to put their new money makers on the banlist, so they hit the cards around it... just like what they did with Cystron Haquifibrax. Judgment meter doesn't seem to understand that Kuribohs likes to cosplay, doesn't she?

7:30 -Seriously!? Bad Reaction to Simochi! Set that down, play Kuribon in attack. If they are dumb enough to attack, they take the damage they would have gained by chaining the activation. It doesn't reset battle, so what comes last comes first and BR is active when Kuribon's effect kicks off. If they know, then they won't attack and it still plays into your stall tactic. Wait to play triple gift card with the Kuri-theme proving this was meant to be and they are insta-dead. You can even set a card as a bluff if you don't have bad reaction yet. They may choose not to attack or MST that bluff. Worst case, they attack and gain a little but you'll still undo that pretty quick with a BR burn deck. The whole point of those was control so you would have plenty of other battle traps at the time to support the little fuzzball and burn them down fast.

you can make use of kuribon LP effect by using card that can turn the LP gain into damage or in deck that uses card that need your opponent to have more LP and the 100 atk/def on rainbow kuriboh could be be from the 100 XYZ monsters from zexal

Galactic koribo is probably the best koribo in the game for how it synergies with the deck it stars in being able to summon a galaxy eyes photon dragon in the battle phase when the opponent declares an attack of any kind is so useful and it’s hard to negate because it’s hard to use a monster effect while it’s in the middle of an attack and not only that it forces the opponent to attack the galaxy eyes even other koribo cards that can cheat out monsters during the battle phase like the magician koribo doesn’t do that and as we probably all know if something summons during an attack order you can reselect your target or just flat out choose not to attack but sense galatikoribo gives you no choice in the matter and forces an attack on your monster one that has 3000 attack and can save itself by temporarily banishing itself and the attacking monster and the koribo can attach itself to any xyz monster even ( and especially) enemy ones for free and there’s this funny effect for galaxy eyes photon dragon where if it uses its self banishment on an enemy xyz monster it gets 500 points stronger for each material attached to it and the neat part about that whole interaction is that say your enemy has an xyz monster it attacks you do the whole galatikoribo effect but instead of sending your koribo to the graveyard you attach it to the very same xyz monster that is forced to attack your proton dragon so assuming it has no material you can get a free 500 attack boost by using that banishment ability the proton dragon has and you know the best part about this is that koribo still goes to your graveyard so it can still use that negate destruction effect if and when you need it which works on any galaxy monster including ones with galaxy eyes in its name there’s so many things you can get out of that one card and it works so well with the deck it’s in it’s why it’s my favorite koribo card heck it’s probably the best koribo card or close to it at least
