It would be different story, if he stopped playing it due to the game actually being an unplayable mess or narratively offensive and subpar, but it really is neither of those. Yes, the trailer in question is really silly and over the top, but that's unlikely on Kojima and while I do agree he went a bit overboard with referencing stuff connecting back to people he got to work with on this project in the in-game infobox files, it doesn't take away from the fact that in terms of themes and vision, he nailed it from where I'm standing. I certainly don't find it to be his best game, but it is a clear improvement on Phantom Pain in almost any regard I can think of.

I think it's a win that Anthem is so bad after having the crunch it did as it is a spark towards the argument that we should do away with crunch.
