32:45 -I think the last part is most key. While all those on this list are scary and Shrek is the most friendly, he is also the one who genuinely enjoys giving people a good traditional fright. Not only with his face and intimidating roar but with traditional horror stories in a scary atmosphere. He himself is nearly afraid of nothing and knows how to spin a terrifying yarn masterfully. A monsterous hermit who tells horror tales of the swamp he lives in has to rank up there as number 1. He's basically the fen Crypt Keeper.

I'm a little surprised Rikuo from Darkstalkers didn't get a mention. Guessing that since the last video was a complete ranking of the Darkstalkers characters you'd just be repeating yourself going over the points of that video.

Pretty much, yeah. We had some things recorded about Rikuo, but it boiled down to the same bits from the Darkstalkers video. I'm good with repeating points from other videos after some time has past, but it felt like a bit too much of a repeat.

30:44 -There was a Shrek comic that came out between the first and second movie. It started with an adaptation of the Universal 4D show but moved into a series of stories about him and Fiona as newlyweds in their swamp in a fairytale world. This is relevant because one story in particular had Shrek meet his physical match. It starts with Shrek trying to help the old woman in the shoe who is behind in her bills. A nasty debt collector keeps apathetically harassing her and her many kids (a very different depition of their character form Madam Zapata many years later in the Puss in Boots Netflix Show.) I fot. Remember why but Shrek has to cross a bridge and find a it is guarded by a troll who won't let him past. The troll is inherently several feet taller than Shrek and much bulkier. He clobbers the Ogre easily each time Shrek tries to confront him. Shrek has only ever known using brute force to overcome an obstacle like this before and had a hard time admitting he is incapable of handling this guy this way. Again, I forget the exact angle but Shrek is finally convinced to talk it out with the Troll and finds he is unhappy with his task. He wants to help people if I remember correctly (the Sphinx from the Netflix PIB show seems to have taken a page from this long forgotten comic) and so Shrek hooks him up with the old lady. When the sneaky debt collector knocks on her door again, the troll answers, telling the collector they will need more time and to bugger off. Lol It was one of the rare moments Shrek has not been the most beefy thing in the story and had to use alternative manners of solving a problem not because his brute force would only make things worse but because it wasn't enough.

Honourable mention One I can think of is the swamp witch from Queen’s Blade the main antagonist of the queen’s Blade series she took a holy land of god turned it into a swamp and has once defeated the demon lord Ose. However the swamp witch has no physical body so she a body stealer type villain sadly the body she uses is Werbellia Aldra mother the queen of hell.

12:26 -He wasn't lured in. His family have been the established port and trade masters for the village. That's why his family crest is a mermaid and he ironically became a fish man. Each lord has a crest reflective of their family's past purpose or position in the village after it's founding to help it thrive. Most of them are all that remain of their biological families at this point but the propellerman was originally going to be Heisenberg's father. On the subject of big mouth bass. He WAS going to be a bit more tragic and sinister. They originally imagined and drew him as having his ex lover permanently fused to his back and still semiconscious in a terrifying hellish existence. He essentially acted as a parasite clinging to the one he "loved" and initially this was telegraphed physically too. This was cut but it fits his character more and would have helped you feel a little less bad for him seeing a more obvious victim of his behavior every time you look at him. Instead they made him only simp for theost powerful entity in a childish way so the stalker/creep part of his portrayal got a bit muddled. We can't see him being a true leach to Miranda so we kind of glance over the fact he IS a bit of an incell superfan of her.
