Riddler has been in every Arkham game, every Lego game, has been in a movie (almost two), and has been in every Batman related TV show (both love action and cartoons) to date. The guy is pretty much Batman's third main villain behind Penguin and Joker. At Least that is what it used to be. Either way he's far from underrated.

DJFlare84 Agreed, I especially loved the episode when Temple Fugate tricked his way into being a butler for an aging professor who invented a device that could alter the flow of time, allowing him to suspend time down and up in whatever way he wanted, it actually made for a great episode given what Fugate could do, and how it almost killed many people with a bomb as he watched in slow motion.

While he may not be under appreciated, he is definitely misrepresented. Who is this? Black Mask. Yeah, that one guy who's everywhere these days. But he has not been given the treatment he deserves. He has an interesting backstory and a clinical obsession with masks, that's very often overlooked. Because all the writers are just like "Nope, I'll make him a mob-boss with a black skull head!" Hell, the False Facers society has been practically written out of the comics!!! Black Mask needs more respect.

I always liked the Riddler. The thing with him is that the writers have to be able to come up with good riddles. Read "Dark Knight, Dark City" sometimes. Not familiar with the three ladies but I bet with the right writer and artist they could be made really good. Clock King is actually a Green Arrow villain before Batman writers started stealing him for their stuff. Didn't Film Freak also appear in the late 80's or so as either someone who committed movie themed crimes or made snuff films or something? I kind of remember a story like that and a cover of Batman strung up by his wrists with flimstrips. Love KGBest. Sad when he got killed off in the first few minutes of "Assault on Arkham". I would also add two to that list: The Mime (love her, only in one story I know of) and Magpie (she was the first villain Batman teamed up with Superman to capture, at least according to the "Man of Steel" miniseries and only came back one other time).

My favorite underrated Batman villain is 'The Absence'. She's one of Bruce Wayne's many exes who gets shot through the head during a botched robbery on her yacht and is left with a gigantic doughnut hole through her skull. She survives because of comic book biology and decides to become a supervillain because nobody at her funeral was upset/ Bruce didn't come to her funeral (he was still lost in time). She was lots of fun, but she only ever got match wits with Dick and Damien when they were Batman & Robin. I'd have loved to see a storyline with her and Bruce.

GREAT video! One thing I'd like to note as this may be common knowledge by now, is that a take on the Johnny Karaoke character was renamed Johnny Charisma in Batman: Arkham Knight and plays an important part of the narrative as well as being features in his own sequence albeit with a tweaked origin. Instead of being a karaoke legend, he is a Frank Sinatra-like performer who becomes, well...sick and Batman must face him. I thought this was interesting given your number one pick. Hush, man bat, and firefly are so underrated and deserve more attention

Although I'm all for seeing more of The Riddler *clears throat awkwardly* *looks around suspiciously* I wouldn't call him underrated. I do agree on K.G. Beast though. I've hardly seen anything about him but I love him already. The most underrated rogue that I think needs to be shown a lot more is Catman. Originally he was extremely gimmicky, paired with Catwoman to steal some cat statue, and fairly lame, but in another version he was really kickass and even beat Bats when they first met. That deserves respect.

Why does it say that the riddler was introduced in 1988? He was in the 60s batman show

Where the he'll is the Ventriloquist/Scarface? The Mad Hatter? The Black Mask? Killer Moth?

I thought the Tweed brothers could be used more. MO was fashion. Could use sewing and clothing gimmicks. They were comic relief with Mad Hatter but I think they could be serious Tim Gunn type.

Johnnie karaoke was brought into arkham knight as johnny charisma, he sings as the joker but he seems familiar to batman anyway.

I honestly think Scarecrow is pretty underrated. In my opinion he has the potential to surpass the Joker, but the writers rarely go beyond the fear gas gimmick.

There's quite a lot of underrated Batman villains, but on the top of that list is Prometheus. That guy has potential !

You predicted the future! You said Johnny Karaoke could be the next Joker. Johnny Charisma from Arkham Knight is like the same character, and he's BECOMING THE JOKER in the story. Technically, he is becoming the next Joker.
