A fun fact about Sanger Zonvolt and the Super Robot Wars series, it is the only series included in the 3DS crossover game Project X Zone, where the events are actually 100% canon to that series, which means Sanger Zonvolt has fought alongside the likes of Ryu and Dante

As a long-time mecha fan, I am pretty satisfied with this list. It's really cool that you've injected your own experience with Mechs in the countdown with entries like Bowser Jr, how you've selected a few representants of the archetype with some very thoughtful choices (I mainly think of Eggman) and how you choose to put in the frontline the very faces of modern mecha games. A while ago I did a Twitter post to give suggestions for this specific countdown. While I'm kind of sad to see many of the Mecha Pilots from Mecha games not making the list, I am glad that this reflects your opinion and researches, as this is why I watch your content. Each and every one of those characters deserves the spot you gave them, and the list was very cool to watch. I want to say that this is probably the single list I wanted the most from your channel. I'm not really someone that comments on youtube a lot, but this time I figured it had to be done. Congratulations for the video, and I'm looking forward to see the top 10 Parasol wielders next time.

Honorable mention from me: Karl Heisenberg from RE Village: reason is cause while he didn't do it at first he eventually uses his magneto style magnetism to "mutate" himself into a fully armed (yet crudely built) mech with tank treads, buzzsaws, create metallic barriers to block Ethan's attacks and a shockwave type move that cause all metal objects to revolve around him to potentially grind to scrap.

REAL MEN RIDE EACH OTHER The debut appearance of the DyGenGuar is so awesome, it gets it's own anime title card. Explanation to the meme above, DyGenGuar has a partner mech, the Aussenseiter. A combination attack perfored by the two has the Aussenseiter transform INTO A HORSE that DyGenGuar rides and goes Zantetsuken on the enemy. The Aussenseiter is piloted by Sanger's best pal Ratsel who is just as manly. Lastly Japanese pronunciation of DyGenGuar sounds exactly like DaiZengar (Great Sanger).

Actually the reason Dingo is bound to Jehuty is because he would die if he left it. After the big bad and commander of BAHRAM's forces, Nohman shoots Dingo in the back, Dingo is left critically wounded and the only to save his life is to link him to Jehuty, meaning the metatron that keeps Jehuty powered is also the only thing keeping him alive. In a way, Dingo Egret is one with Jehuty in mind and body.

My man, Oscar! You surprise me with delight! Sanger Zonvolt!! My best man! I don't mind if he's just #2 for you (he's always #1 for me), as an SRW nut, I'm rejoicing like heck! (Although, Super Sentai and FLCL were just oddities in SRW, they just appeared in the mobile game X-Omega (now shut down) and that was a one-time event. But maybe one day, we'll see them in a normal strategy RPG version, like the origin of Voltron, GoLion...) Also one thing: You didn't mention one of the things Sanger is famous for. See, he has a partner Elzam von Branstein/Ratsel Feinschmeker (long story), he rides another robot, as usual, but in his case, it's the designed partner of the Dygenguard, the Aussenseiter. And they can execute a combo where the Aussenseiter turns into a robot horse for the Dygenguard to ride, evoking a cavalry samurai and the concept itself generally being so absurd that it's awesome. And it's a real powerful attack too. As the saying goes in SRW: "Real Men Ride Each Other." Now I'm just imagining you riding on Comic Foil...

When you think about it, Haehyun's victory animation would be HORRIFYING to anyone who didn't know her personally. Think about it - this large old man is boasting about his superiority when suddenly he freezes, starts buzzing, vents smoke and then slowly splits apart....you'd be on the ground passed out from shock LONG before Haehyun ejected. Also I'd like to low-key think that, since STRIVE has a Korean dub, that Haehyun (who is Korean) will be a DLC character in the inevitable second Character Pass.

Well, I was both surprised and not surprised at all with some of the choices for mech pilots. I knew that D.va, Bowser Jr., Tron Bonne and Eggman would be here, but how could I forgot one of the manliest warriors of all time, Sanger Zonvolt? To add more to that character, I actually met him for the first time in the first Project X Zone game, where we must fight him in order to use him as a Solo Unit, to be paired with other characters, and thanks to Kaguya Nanbu, his samurai sword transforms into the Type-X Colossal Blade, which is basically a giant-mech blade fit to be used only by Sanger Zonvolt.

Really a fan of this. Granted I know jack about the mecha genre, but having a robot pilot a robot to pilot another robot and still not be number one is a good sign.

I'd be MORE surprised if we didn't see anyone from Xenogears (Wouldn't be surprised if Fei was HIGH on the list if not #1 considering what he managed to pull off), Xenosaga or from Xenoblade since while I can't mention anything about Xenoblade 2 cause spoilers (GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW! it's a good game, it just has a slow start but HOO BOY is it damn good when running on all cylinders!) XB1 has Egil and the Face Units and XBX has the Skells. I mean, the Xeno series bread and butter IS MECHS INVOLVED IN SOME WAY! Thank The Architect that Nintendo had enough sense to see what a damn good writer and dev Takanashi is! Square did Xenogears dirty...
