Top Thrill 2 : American Testing Services - Certifications or More Inspections? More Rumors

Welcome back to ghoster coasters - we got some interesting news coming out of the Cedar point Peninsula last night… American testing services vans on site potentially certifying the ride and could we see this thing open for coastermania? recent rumors lead many to believe no others seem to think that Cedar Point is planning to open top thrill 2 this coming weekend.  let’s discuss what American testing services does and what this could mean for Cedar Point and us coaster enthusiasts.

My guess is that it must be fairly close to reopening. Otherwise they would've updated the Coastermania itinerary by now. The fact that they haven't fully updated and completely removed TT2 from the itinerary, it would SEEM like maybe it might be ready within the next week best case? Just a thought.

I saw Americans testing systems at CP yesterady at around 7:55 PM entering the park.

Here is the thing, they ran all these test cycles at night probably to try and get a certain number of runs in. They will have to remove the parts from the trains to do a full ndt test on each individual component. So this will take time to do. Which would explain the now updated itinerary they just posted. And hopefully they don't find anything and can certify the parts.

My whole thing with that screamscape article (not blaming him...I know ppl submit things to him)...is he emphasizes one train being prepared for what sounds like more diagnostic testing. On paper that makes sense. One train. But what we are seeing doesn't match up to the article at all. To put new wheel carriers on (at least 2 of the trains....does anyone know if they are on the blue yet??) would be REALLY expensive diagnostic testing and just doesn't match up to that article. I dunno somewhere somebody is mixed up and I'm hoping it's that article🤞🤞 Again tho not blaming Screamscape. Ppl forget that stories/rumors are submitted to that website and then when he's "wrong" get real nasty with him. No need for that.

Yeah definitely not blaming him but it seems like he may have been 10000% accurate lol i wasnt sure what to believe but he got it on the nose.

@@GhosterCoasters so is one train only ready right now?? I keep seeing things about all 3 were on the track at one point. Then I saw another that Black and silver had new wheel carriers and blue was up next (ppl were taking pics or I wouldn't have paid attention lol). But are they doing this diagnostic testing with multiple trains?? Just seems really expensive???

When is Top Thrill 2 Reopening! I hope that Top Thrill 2 reopens soon in time for my trip up to Cedar point on July 11th !!!! I really wanna ride on Top Thrill 2 really really bad

@@GhosterCoasters ya me too. Cedar point gave an update though 2 hours ago and said they still don't have a reopening date yet though so idk ! I mean I hope that Top Thrill 2 is reopen soon or itleast in July ! I'd love to ride on it !!
