The PH's tech of standing in the pallet with his ability ready is so good. I never thought of that and it seemed to work out really well because it forces the survivors to make a split second decision of taking the hit or trying to gain distance by running to the next tile.

Learn his timing. Aim for the pallet or window. Guaranteed hit after a little practice. Aura perks are so nasty on him. Imagine no where to hide, nurses, and I’m all ears…. His cages prevent pallet saves and FL or flash bang saves too. They’ll spawn opposite you on the map too. Toxic clicky clicky survs? Down them. Smear your forbidden jelly in a sold area. Have the surv wiggle off dropping them in your jelly donut of death. (Left side in the middle of jelly). They’ll be forced to get in yo jelly! Happy executioning!

Well… The problem is that Nemesis essentially needs to hit survivors 3 times on first encounter… So he’ll always be behind. Other hand? PH can hit with power immediately, with the added bonus of not needing to pickup necessarily. PH has a lot going for him over nemesis

I feel that in a way he’s very similar to Legion. No immediate threat of downing someone (three hits for nemesis, legion no power to down) so they definitely rely on slowing the game down and managing gen progress. Nemesis isn’t as bad though lol

@@mutemain8610 Nemesis one of the fastest killers in the game, da fuq? He’s normal movement speed with no way to make himself faster. Wraith, Hillbilly, Nurse, Oni, Blight, Legion, and Spirit are all faster. Demogorgon has portals, Clown has speed bottles, Freddy can teleport to gens, Hag can place traps that give her more presence, Trapper can place bear traps, Twins has Victor, Leatherface moves faster when swinging his chainsaw, ranged killers may be slower but have a much wider threat range than m1 killers. Pinhead can teleport to the box as someone is opening it. Hell, even Myers gets faster vault speed and further lunge distance in t3. The only killers I didn’t list are Doctor, Pig, Ghostface, PH, and Nemesis himself, meaning Nemesis himself has one of the smallest effective threat ranges in the game, so I’m failing to see your point. He does have zombies, but I don’t remember the last time a zombie has gotten a hit from across the map unless I am there to brute force the hit, so the one thing contributing towards his map pressure basically doesn’t exist.

I don’t get doctor vs legion. If anything legion vs plague makes more sense since both killers are effectively keep the survivors in an instant-down state with the only difference being plagues temporary power spike in corrupt purge

@@Random-yg1fiDoctor and Legion are both killers that rely on built-in tracking and base-kit slowdown. In Legion's case the slowdown comes from mending, whereas Doctor makes you snap out of madness. You can't hide from either one, and in the end both have low downing power in favor of slowdown and map pressure. I don't think there's another killer more similar to Doctor than Legion in terms of how their power generally affects the game.

Honestly lethal is a good perk but it has to be on. The right killer such as blight, legion, nurse, plauge, meyers, and huntress But on some such as trapper, hag, and freddy it isnt that good. Its medium for twins, pyramid head, nemisis, and ghostface.

I still think that Nemesis is way more fun than Pyramid. Pyramid Head is better, but Nemesis is more fun. He feels less clunky and punishing when you mess up.

And I think the opposite because of the exact same argument. I find my fun in suceeding ambitious shots or just outplays in general. If you miss with Nemesis, survivors don't really have time to safely run to another loop, so they usually just awkwardly stares at you for .5 second. The range of outplays is also fairly limited with Nemesis I feel. Yeah, watching a survivor get downed by my man Paul or my girl Rebecca (the Zs) is always funny, but I don't feel proud of those moments. Plus half the Nemesis playerbase are just reconverted Bubba mains, tunnel and camping is pretty much the norm for them, at least in my games.

I’m not like an amazing killer or anything, so I can’t really play a killer that requires a ton of mastery to use really efficiently like Pyramid Head, or a killer that really punishes you for making mistakes. Nemesis is very forgiving if you make mistakes, and his tentacle is very satisfying to use with the sound effects and stuff. I dunno that’s just me

I absolutely love playing pyramid head. The best part is definitely when you get someone at an angle through a wall, it feels so damn good; cage of atonement is also super useful if you down someone next to the other survivors or where you don't have a hook, just send them to the opposite side of the map, or better yet if you down two people in one place, hook someone there and send someone to the otherside of the map.

I main nemesis and I can make some notes here. 1) his strongest addons are the ones that let him get to T3 quicker. The strength of his power between T2 and T3 is insane. 2) it’s best to save the vaccines until he’s in T3 and then vaccinate so one player doesn’t give him T3 by vaccinating and getting infected again. Lethal pursuer is a really underrated perk for getting that early pressure and gen slow/ regression perks are really strong on him 4) if someone is using vaccines before you’re at T3, you can semi tunnel them for insane pressure, especially if they’re vaccinating before healing

I'm convinced the maps work on an extremely small daily rotation, because I've had days where I've gotten Badham V several games in a row, and even a day where I played Coldwind 9/10 games, and one was on Haddonfield because someone brought the offering. I've also never gotten more than 3 different realms in a single day of playing. The map pool is not random and nobody will convince me otherwise.

As a prestige 3 nemesis and prestige 3 pyramid I'd honestly say nemesis is underrated and could outscale P H his tentacle is alot easier to hit with and is a deadly weapon a tier 2 or 3 the zombie are really annoying and his perks are decent he's much better for beginners aswell I feel he's more fun and with a few minor buffs/changes he could easily be a A tier killer above P H although I see why you would put P H above him though just my opinion 😉

p3 doesnt mean anything tbh Nemesis has way too many things bad for him 1st: He has to hit 3 times with his tentacle till a dow. 2nd: Tier 1 cant break pallets only tier 2&3 3rd: Tier 3 makes you 100% while charging the tentacle but ph has 110 while charging up his sweep. 4th: Perks dont mean anything in a tierlist. P H has probably one of the worst perk sets with huntress. 5th: Nemesis is so damn easy to dodge, and fov tech hurts him really bad. While p h can miss pretty easy but he wont get fov teched and he can hit through walls Nemesis will be OP ASF if he gets buffed, till hes stronger than PH. PH is probably the 5th best killer ingame after: Nurse, Blight, Spirit, Hag, PH

I think the main different here is that Nemesis played more "fair" than PH. I enjoy playing PH more but i think Neme is stronger because his power is faster (harder to dodge) also can destroy pallets. While PH you can pre-drop pallets/hold W to be safe. Still both are strong and both A tier for me.

I feel like the Nemesis match was not handled as well as it could of been. He missed the opportunity from pallets. I think he only destroyed 1 pallet. I usually leave unsafe pallets to destroy or hit the survivors later. I understand how he got hit by the pallet early on. However until I know how the survivors use pallets, I charge my tentacle strike for a hit if they come back like that. Though I get how everyone has their own play style. I mean his perks made no since too me…. I get the thought, but I use jolt/surge, lethal pursuer, bbq and chili(yes, yes I know… but you need information more than slow down.) the forth perk is not really necessary but I probably would run bloodhound so if they have boons you can still find the survivor that you are currently chasing. Usually get 1-2 survivors before a gen pops

Top Tier Demo vs Top Tier Freddy would be interesting. Both killers are played differently but what really can give them a strong comeback is their teleportation to either gens, or the abyss portals. And it would be interesting to see how two top tier players can capitalize on the special ability of these killers and show how capable of turning around a lost match they actually can be if played well. It will greatly show that the skill ceiling is way more than just snares/shreds in loops but instead extends to crazy levels!

Like honestly, I get Hex: Ruin is good, but that random chance they might just find it in the beginning make it completely useless in my book. Sure, if could be in a great spot that helps you all game or even just half, but that random chance at the beginning they might find it makes the match feel all the sweatier. Like, just popping into a match and immediately having one of your perks disabled fucking feels awful. The shittiest part is I run Hex: Ruin so I don't have to sweat and instead it just feels like you're gimping yourself by starting with three perks instead of four.

I feel the exact same way about Ruin. It's such a strong regression perk that almost feels required to get some value out of it to have a non-sweaty game, but at the same time, it is as reliable as the totem spawns and how well the survivors know them. If it spawns facing a gen right next to the survivors it literally earns 0 value whereas at least with a perk like Pop, in the worst case scenario you might find one use for it in the entire match.

Well it’s not 0 value - they have to disarm it which still costs survivors time. The fastest disarms are about 15/30 seconds in. (Either spawn looking at it or light searching). That’s what makes ruin so indomitable - even the worst case scenario is a competitive stall option numerically with other stall perks. On top of this, you can almost always rush right to your totem to make sure it’s not insta fibbed, like our nemesis does. This dramatically can extend its value even if it’s instantly known.

I think it'd be cool if Killers could Hex their own totems, that way they have a choice where it is. Basically like how the Boon perks are...you have to spend a little time getting it active but at least you're in control of the perk.

Both of these games highlight just how easy it is to run M1/115 killers around if they lack innate map pressure. As demonstrated, Nemesis' map pressure is extremely unreliable while Pyramid Head's is tricky to work with but consistently effective if you know how to pull it off. *Game 1 comments:* Nemesis' zombies were, as predicted, borderline useless. I'm quite surprised they even got the one hit in they did over the entire match, and that's with the Iridescent S.T.A.R.S. badge greatly boosting their speed after each gen done. Otherwise, they do exactly what Nemmy zombies do 99% of the time: Get stuck on random crap and fail to even be decent sentries. Then again, it's no great loss to run the badge since outside of Frank's Blood, all of Nemesis's add-ons are basically worthless. Note that Survivors barely touched the vaccines and still easily out tanked and dodged most of the killer's tentacle slaps. In fact, the only reason Nemesis got any kills at all is thanks to a lengthy basement camp AND No Way Out. Now, as harsh as I sound, I am NOT dunking on the Nemesis player here; he shows genuinely excellent chase play, great map awareness against survivors trying their hardest to stealth-rush gens all around him, and he did very well considering he was basically running a single add-on and three perks the entire match against a stacked meta-team on comms. Give the dude props, it's NOT as easy as it looks, especially in a meta that shits all over M1/115 chasers HARD. On a final note about Nemesis: Not that long ago in another Otzdarva video comments section, there were a number of survivor mains doing their usual crybaby routine claiming Nemesis was "OP" because he didn't have to respect pallets with his tentacle, and how avoiding hits in chase is basically impossible against a skilled Nemesis. Well, I think this video pretty conclusively shows how to play around the tentacle. Turns out, I was 100% correct in my original assertions that "Three hits is a really bad gimmick for melee killers" and "ducking is OP vs tentacles". There are a number of instances where Nemesis didn't respect the pallet and got dunked on. Huh, imagine that. *Game 2 Comments:* This is what a killer with actual map pressure looks like. No Ruin, no NOED, no No Way Out, nor Blood Warden for endgame lulz either. And look! Add-ons that aren't bloody useless! What a novel concept. 16:11 A good ten seconds lost to the Witch Survivor hiding in a Jesus Spot where the killer can neither pick up nor PH Cage on the down. A less honorable opponent could have easily camped out there on the ground with Unbreakable and cost the killer a solid minute or more (and the game) but thankfully they realized the problem and eventually gave the killer his due. This was the turning point for the match, since that cage was (combined with the basement hook) fatal and going 3vs1 is a LOT better than 4vs1. (one less bodyblocker, one less person to genrush with Prove Thyself, one less medkit/toolbox...the change in effective pressure is immense) Oh yeah, and not having to unlock the full range of your main power attack also helps immensely too. Pyramid Head is an immense improvement over Nemesis and basically the only M1/115 killer worth playing who isn't reliant on a Speedy Gonzales power or teleportation for map pressure.

As a nemi main, I prefer both "Mikhail's eye" and "Depleted Ink ribbon" for the consistent zombie movement speed (2.0 meters, same as survivor walking speed), and the respawn time. I feel that i can consistently land infections. I do also play Pyramid Head, and I dont think I could do anything else better. Then again, they are professionals and I'm not, so what do I know. Great games anyway, big thanks to both Lionnek and Xeno for playing the killers that I want to learn better.
