In today's Top Tip we'll use toTree's Space Colonization algorithm to create a custom tree in the shape of any scene object.
We'll show you how to adjust the amount of volume attraction points to create an intricate, non-intersecting branch system.

Can you explain why the trunk will stop using the material further up the growth? It's like another trunk starts in the middle and it stays gray.

how do you just grow the leaves on without the tree growth. so the tree already is fully 'grown' and the leaves appear like spring? thanks

Just checked again. There's a bug with the materials. It renders fine in redshift render view, but renders gray in picture viewer.

Hello, thank you for the tip. A question from me, how to retime the simulation when using NeXus (for example slowing down from 100 to 10 % speed)? Retiming in the emitter settings seems to not affect it anymore.

is there a way to prevent branches from growing across a certain area? I tried this with a logo and the leaves look fantastic but the branches are crossing some of the lettering making it harder to discern. for example a "V" has branches going between the two diagonal lines that form the V which makes it look more like an upside-down "A"
