But yh it will probably eat all vw sales :/ But recently also seat and cupra (seat performance/luxury division) are doing good cars especially cupra soo…idk if audi and vw want to sell anymore since there are good alternatives for a much lower price. Also another comparison is vw passat and skoda superb which the skoda is better than the vw equivalent to me, and same with the polo and fabia and the t-roc and the kamiq and the tiguan all space and the karoq… Fun fact: the 2000’s gen passat was an audi a4 and it was rly good and cheaper too…but at the new model they decided to use a stretched golf platform making it cheaper :/

@@foxens5056 Octavia is good enough - my father drives around 50-60 thousand km a year, he drives a fleet 3rd gen Octavia with the 1.6TDI and he doesn't complain, even though the Superb would be of course better :)

Went to a Škoda official center, to get my car checked out, I have a friend there. "Sorry we have 2 months waiting list, we just have 40 MK4 Octavias here waiting for a repair. All of them with faulty electronics". The car is great, but new diesels are super costly to repair + the car has so much electronics inside.

this new diesel is very nice and strong but unfortunately it is a complicated nightmare mess of electronics, sensors, treatment stuff which will cost pretty pennies to fix. So no thanks, I'll take a petrol anyday.

The petrol TSI engine will drink oil after a few thousand km so no thanks, 2.0 tdi is better for the octavia and superb, last longer too
