Here's a conundrum. The Valkyrie is an Adrian Newey designed hypercar for Aston Martin borne from the time Red Bull Racing collaborated with them. Adrian's main job is of course as CTO of RBR. But now Aston Martin is owned by Lawrence Stroll who also owns Racing Point and rebranded it Aston Martin F1 though his cars are essentially B-spec Mercedes-Benz F1 cars who of course will soon be launching the AMG One hypercar. Oh and getting Otmar Szafnauer to help explain the tenuous link between the Valkyrie and an F1 car that shares no design links to it at all is like getting Zlatan Ibrhimovic to explain the off-court work done by LeBron James. It would have been so much better if they could get Adrian to talk about the car he designed and developed.
