I think it’s quite sad how Toph knows that Katara was raised in a different environment than her, she wasn’t raised like her. But the fact that she doesn’t know how a mother was supposed to raised her, build her confidence, and teach her to be her own kind of person she can be proud of. Toph literally raised herself. And when she realized she is bunking with three different people who were not raised like she was, I understand why she came off as hard. It wasn’t about not liking them. But no one has ever taught Toph how to approach others, or speak to them. That is the big problem with raising someone in complete isolation. They understand themselves but not the other behavior or to blend with peers their own age. Toph had it way harder than the trio could ever imagine at least before Zuko came…

Honestly, i don't understand how no one is talking about the fact how right Aang was about Appa! When you think about it he wasn't wrong; the Gaang is always riding on him and it was shown that when Appa got kidnapped they became accustomed to Appa carrying them around to the point it was harder for them to travel in the beginning, and he holds onto every single members luggage all the time, and has to always carry them around 'everywhere' even if he's beyond exhausted.
