Its pretty awesome twins are revered and beloved editions to the Street Fighter family! There was an awesome design esthetic to their Asian heritage blended with an urban city street style! Just great characters with great competitive play and visually awesome! I admit I've used Yun numerous times in competitive play for his great combos and ability to quickly increase his super meter!

I just recently learned that Yun and Yang were originally planned for Super Street Fighter 2. Their inclusion would have meant Dee Jay and Fei Long would have never existed, so it's good that Capcom waited until SF3 to debut them. Both characters are a cool mix of traditional Chinese, and urban culture. They started off as identical head swaps in SF3: New Generation but developed to have their own distinct styles. They both deserve to be in SF6 considering it takes place after SF3 canon wise.

In my opinion, Yang is a good personification of "Thanks for giving Capcom back what you stole from us Data East!" I'm referencing the fact Capcom got away with the last laugh despite losing to Data East in court after the latter made a game that used the same gameplay and game engine as Street Fighter II.

I think it’d be cool to see them in SF6. Better yet, have them as a shared fighter like Pyra and Mythra in Smash. Simply start as either Yun or Yang, and swap between them on command with a quick input like Gen changing between Mantis and Crane. Hell, let them have a Critical Art that has them fight side by side.

I have always liked Yun and Yang from the Street Fighter 3 series, both of them are cool fighters but I do like Yang a bit more than Yun, they both first appeared in Street Fighter 3 New generation, then Street Fighter 3 Second Impact, then the final game of Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, they also appear in other games as well like Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the GBA/PSP, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Super Street Fighter 4, they also appear in the background of Street Fighter x Tekken, it is a real shame that they are not in more games but hopefully we'll get to see both of them more in the Future Street Fighter games ✊

I always thought Yun was the harder hitter than Yang? From what I can see of their martial arts they both look like the 2 versions of Baji Quan, Yun is the fist version Yang is the Palm version. I knew they wouldn't make it in SFV roster because Kairin and Akira was already there.

you know, i understand that releasing 15 versions of a game is better for profits, but it's such a shortsighted way of seeing things. because your basically splitting the player base up constantly, and this isn't even taking into account the major changes they bring with each entry. it's like they want people spread across 30 games at any one time, leading to an extra short life for all their games, were people come into the new thing, then return to whatever they prefer after a month or two. leaving the player base scarce at best, and dead at worst. only just became aware of fightcade, and it honestly blew my mind that more people are playing an emulated 3rd strike over the newest entry, maybe even 4 and 5 combined. i figure that has to be a result of the game changing so much over the years instead of refining what already worked. capcom should try to consolidate all it's players instead of doing everything it's power to split them up, the money will come regardless. it's street fighter ffs, you don't need to rerelease it 10 times to get a decent clip out of it. it's not like fighting games are the most expensive genre of game to develop anyway.. from what i know, they are close to the cheapest. but unlike any expensive genre's fighting games have a rich out of game experience that is ripe for making all the money you want. the more people interested translates to money because of advertising deals, etc for things like evo. i donno, i wish the kings of fighting games understood the genre and what they have a little better is all i'm saying.

The brothers are just one of the many reasons why I still enjoy playing SF 3 and 4. I really don't care if tournament players moved on because they only see where the money is, if you find a game with characters that you enjoy then there should be no reason why one should ever have to abandon it. Here's to hoping maybe one day SFIV will be re-introduced back into the community folds and be popular again. It deserves it!

A lot of people still play SF4 especially on PC even the vanilla version. It’s a great series it’s grown a lot on me over time. Sadly outside of Gill I haven’t found much I like in SF6 maybe in another 5 years idk
