The first Thor movie didn't get as much love as some of the other MCU movies but in my opinion it's one of the most beautifully constructed MCU movies in the whole line up the way they showed the beauty of Asgard and the whole universe they're surrounded by and the soundtrack was so damn beautifully crafted as well and fit the movies moments perfectly especially in the end when Thor is talking with his father then goes to Heimdall asking if Jane is thinking about him and Heimdall says she's searching for him and the movie ends with him smiling, I'll always remember that scene, Thor was cocky and immature at this time yes and yeah he had yet to awaken his true power without relying on Mjolnir but I'd be damned if anyone says that this wasn't Thor at his mightiest, they nerfed him after this movie in a lot of ways but I'm not mad about that because he's been thru some things and is obviously a broken man now and not the same naive "god" he used to be

I'm just tired of people arguing that Cap with Mjolnir is stronger than Thor with Mjolnir. Cap is only superhuman, Thor is legit a Demigod. Their arguments are constantly saying that the powers that come with the hammer include strength, which might include strength but it doesn't make them as strong as the being Thor. Because Thor is still Asgardian while Cap is just a superhuman. And their argument is consistently "Thor when he got his powers taken away was nothing in the first Thor" and they ignore the fact that Odin legit cast him out of Asgard meaning he was no longer Asgardian meaning he lost his Asgardian traits. The reason we know Thor lost his Asgardian genes and all that is because the Warriors 3, Lady Sif, and Valkyrie are all just great Asgardian warriors, and we know for sure that they are stronger than Cap and much more durable. And Thor didn't always have his hammer, he grew up without having it so he is obviously a force without the powers of Thor that come from the hammer.

It's wild to know how insanely powerful he is but I've noticed many haven't realized, that THOR is one of the most bad ass and most powerful marvel character they have right now. As far as I know, The Asgardians in the Marvel Universe are BASED on the Nordic mythology, but they are not gods themselves. They are just aliens, more powerful, both physically and because of the use of magic and other kinds of energy, and way long-lived than humans (I think I remember Loki saying they can live perfectly 5.000 years), but still mortal. They don't have godly powers such as destroying a planet with just a thought.

+Reynart christian Cruz +It's Daksh I have read the comic of Thor, and they are not Gods. They are considered gods by lesser races due to their power, immense but not Godly. Odin is the most powerful of all Asgardians, with the ability of omniscience like Heimdal has, yet he is still not a god either. In the cinematic universe, the Asgardias were even toned down further, to the point to be killed by anyone who is capable land a hit on them.

It's Daksh Asgardians are not God's they live and die like humans, but there lifespans are massive. They can live up to 5000 years, and they are not immortal they can die just like humans, they almost have superhuman strength but it's not completely superhuman, Hulk is technically now immortal as he shot himself in the head and lived. Thor is extremely powerful but is strength is no where near hulks.

This Thor needed 4-5 hits to destroy the Bifrost bridge, then in Ragnarok, he just one-shotted it with his lighting. IW/EG Thor > Ragnarok Thor > Mjølnir Thor

@@xcx005 Bifrost was recreated after The Avengers event. And as you can see in Ragnarok, the new bridge is pretty fragile, it even broke when Fenris stumbled.
