City Property INVADES Homeowner's Backyard Knocking Down Fence

The city property was invading this homeowners backyard so she called me to see if I could help her out. There were dead trees fallen on her back fence making it fall over. I did the best I could to get it cleaned up for her and tied her fence back up.

Great job, as always. The fence was new so the owner of this property might have been afraid that it could be affected by the overgrown trees and bushes. I would also recommend her to get the roots out, otherwise she will have similar issues after six months again . Just my 2 cents. Thank you, a good case of "a stitch in time saves nine". I recall AP working on an elder's yard in Florida, where the elder was also responsible for the utility clearance next to her property, which as you found here, was a jungle. Not only a blockage of utility repairs but a vermin attractant and fire hazard. Glad you helped this lady with her yard, pushed-back some encroaching jungle and even touched--up her yard to make it extra nice.

I live adjacent from one of our many little parks, we have houses on all sides and their property is highly maintained. Great job! and like everyone else is saying...city is always quick to issue violations to home owners but sure don't take care of their properties. I saw a video where the elderly lady got a violation for her yard but the empty lot next to her owned by the city, was 10x worse than hers. These cities should be ashamed.

You should get paid city wages for cleaning up their lot. And for the disposal fee. Alot of cities come down on homeowners for not keeping their property up. But don't seem accountable for what they own? Should be the same for all property owners regardless. Thanks for your hard work, trying to mend that fence the best you could.
