Thank you for all these videos. You have really helped me work through my hair loss emotionally. I have very curly fine hair, very fragile, a sore scalp (scalp eczema) and androgenic alopecia (I have had all the blood tests and all fine). My hair loss started when I was 22 and now I am 28, so I did feel alone as most others with this hairloss I have met are 'older'. Your advice is SO HELPFUL!! I have been asking a local wig store about wigs but they keep insisting I get a topper. I said 'no, I have fine, curly hair, sensitive scalp, with lots of thinning and would rather have a wig and cut my thin hair short'. They have been very insistent about preserving my long curly hair, but your video has given me the tools and language to stand up for myself. I am in the UK otherwise would order from your store. xxxx

Thank you so much, PersonalIsPolitical! It's incredibly rewarding to get kind, positive feedback like yours. And knowing you're not alone in your troubles, that there are loads of people all over the world going through the same thing,helps take some of the pressure off, doesn't it? I'm glad I've been able to help.

I started off with 3/4 wigs. I recently have went to full wigs and to me, it feels the same. I am in love with Harper from Henry Margu. Thank you so much Cysterwigs.

Thank you for this video. I normally wear a topper but my hair has gotten so thin and fragile that I was wondering if I needed to switch to wigs. Even though I find wigs a lot harder than toppers lol

Got a question? If a person looses weight does the head shrink? Thanks
@CysterWigs6 жыл бұрын
Nope, not really! The occipital ridge at the back may become more defined, but typically the overall measurements stay the same - you lose the weight in your chin, cheeks, and neck - so your head doesn't really change size ;-)

Hi there! For me, I just went for it and shaved my thin bio hair and went full wig! Honestly, once I made the jump, it was downright liberating - I, me, myself finally had control over it (my baldness) - empowering!!! Today after about 5 years of wig wearing, there is no shame in it for me. And I love to play around with styles and colors...I have the hair I had when I was 18 again!!! However, I'm older and do need to begin to think about going grey; I just don't want short hair!!!!

Hi, K! Thanks for sharing! Yeah, I definitely feel better after I shave my head (or when Nigel does it for me). It sure makes getting ready a lot easier and faster, and, as you say, empowering! If you're thinking of going gray, we've got some styles and shades you can browse through on our site to get an idea of what you might like, and one heck of a Customer Care Help Desk to answer any questions. As a starting point, I can tell you that Envy makes most of their longer wigs in shades of gray. So there are options out there! :) - Heather

I thought you and your husband shaved your head? Well I know you did because I watched it, are you growing it back?
