I just heard some of this on a tv programme so i looked it up. I was 22 at the time and remember i was visiting mum and we both were watching this on totp. Mum is gone now and it brought a tear to my eyes. But brought back the memory and thrn smiled. Thankyou Miss u mum. X

I work in the pop music industry and I remember my mum screaming Chris it's bucks fizz. I ran down stairs and watched this iconic pop outfit. Looking now what I never see as a child is a brilliant pop band. They look so good. Sound so great. 🥳

Not to be a downer, but people always say this and when this song came out that certainly wasn't the case. The early 1980s not only had high inflation but much higher interest rates than now (up to 20%) and on top of all that was a genuine daily fear of a nuclear holocaust.

The group Buzzed Fizz was introduced to me earlier in the year. The singers are fantastic, you can understand the words to the song and they have great dancing moves. The group consisted of some fantastic young people in their aging stages. Before the 4 young people were blondes but in the song Make Believe the girls are still blondes but one of the guys is now a brunette. Good entertainment on their part.
