I have both of these and really like them. For me the perfect knife would be in between these two. The SXS is a little smaller than I thought it would be. The SXB is a beast. I want an SXG (Goldilocks) and it would be just right.

"TOPS KNIVES"are one of the best knives out there.I own 14 TOPS KNIVES and love them.my thoughts are why buy garbage when you can take out the trash with a TOPS KNIFE!

Good video; I picked up the SXB for my son this Christmas. It is a beast, but I knew he wanted one. It was difficult to find. Thanks for the video.

Those are really cool knives, I have looked at those Tops SXB and now seeing this version......I love them. I just don’t think I would use it, I just love it and would want to just throw it into a collection. Great knives though👍👍👍 I always thought E.J. Was cool when I saw him for the first time on Dual Survival😊

Hello Tim, thank you your fine review. I really like that knife. The knife is actually a great multi-tool. It would be a great tool for hiking/backpacking, camping or survival. Not a bad price at all for a very good practical go to knife. 🤗

Yeah - multi tool indeed.

Great all round Bushcraft knife and a fantastic partner to the SXB. I use both along with the smaller Tom Brown Tracker 4 which is great for small game skinning with its rounder belly that clips nicely to the rear of the SXB molle straps. A great do it all combination. I also use Tops MSK 2.5 for food prep as I like to have something clean for eating with that sits in the SXB pocket.

It was on sale the other day at MidwayUSA for 99 bucks, so I grabbed one to go with its big brother ( Which I love )...its back up to 195 now...but keep an eye out for it to be 99 again.

Great review! Planning on getting this little guys soon to pair with the full size SXB. I've had the SXB for around 2 years and have had no issues with it. It simply works well on all tasks. Like you said, its does things well but not perfect. Highly recommend it and it would be awsome to see a review from such a great channel 👍🤘

It has the same hook as the tops tracker, which makes the best feathers of any knife. Surely this sxs can do the same?

I do not have the sharpening skill to even think about owning a knife with that blade shape!
@BeefT-Sq3 ай бұрын
Use a ceramic rod and a strop to keep it sharp. If it gets dinged up, Tops will sharpen it free. Not a big problem.

EverydayTacticalVids Here’s the SXB review: Bushcraft AND Tactical by Design This tool not only performs many bushcraft chores as possibly the best one tool option on the market, it also incorporates several features designed specifically for combat and self defense. The best video reviews to watch are by the designer E J Snyder himself. He knocks down some of the myths and misunderstandings of his creation. Watch these first before moving on to gauntlet and first impression videos of the Tops SXB Skullcrusher. I researched this knife for a year before picking one up at the SMKW store in Tennessee. They have some of the best prices just short of vendor reps at trade shows. It might even be cheaper if you order it from them online. It packs some weight but it wouldn’t be a chopper otherwise... Above all else, it’s super FUN to use. I’ve had it over a year and still pack this thing into the woods every time! I’ve also added items to the factory sheath including a sharpener in the pocket , bandana, ferro rod and a mini knife which also doubles as a striker for the fire steel. I also keep the included classic Tops whistle along w a generous amount of paracord as a high vis sheath wrapping. Cons: the weight ( but it IS a super chopper😀) and the spine isn’t the best ferro rod striker. Other than that , the SXB Skullcrusher has delivered on point in EXCESS of my expectations and is virtually indestructible. Listen to EJ’s story how this knife came about. I can’t recommend this blade enough. In addition to being a best friend in the woods, I’m just now realizing some of the possibilities and uses in a bug out/urban setting. Camo and serrated options also available

The SXB is great , people think its just a big Tracker but its not . The knife is a good chopper and its made so if in need you can use it as a draw knife to make a bow .
@greedygringoprospecting69415 жыл бұрын
that's more reasonable the skull crusher is huge all you need is the knife it's so big to live out side

How about "well-designed and well-made" and Made In USA? If you want a low-priced knife, go buy something from China LOL ( Seriously : If money is an issue, the Glock Field Knife and the Cold Steel SRK are real bargains ).
