Navy? Thanx for the videos. Very helpful. Just getting into Carp, as inshore kayaking is getting harder.. I hope that an Octogenarian can learn new things. BTW,I will take all of the 5 lbs I can get. (I have heard that method feeders are illegal in Ca. Sounds like Ca. Must research.)

Great video. That lady just walking up while you're recording 😂 That was a nice carp. Caught a 10½lbr the other day. Another one broke my line and then I only had really small hooks left so the next one pulled the hook. Time for me to get some new line and more hooks.

Quick question!... Do you have baitfeeder reels? If so, are they "open" so there's no resistance to the fish? Can you describe to me how that works? I guess my confusion is that the bolt rig I assume is designed so the fish sets the hook on itself which would make me think that the feeder is off so that there is resistance.. but If that were the case, I would think the rod would go flying into the water... Thanks for clarifying for me!

I do use bait feeder reels which really helps the hookup rate. The bolt rig is nice like you said because the fish sets the hook itself. Thanks for watching

yes they typically have a variety of different gold-yellow patterns. This one was exceptionally golden!

Where I go I always seem to catch 10lbrs which is fine but I'd really love to hook into a 20+

All waters are different it may be food supply or even predator to carp ratio more predators bigger the fish,smaller fish they could have stunted,and bigger fish have more offspring argo more prey for other fish

why not just throw a hook loaded wth corn on the hook only ,it works excellent without all the mumbo jumbo stuff added,lol

That method will also work. I find using pack bait increases my chances of catching more carp
