Similar happened to me, torpedo hit was 15, flood was 4, sunk three ships(2 bb and 1 cv, and even one bb was magazine detonation w/torpedo) and still got low XP.

I personally thought a lot of his drops were quite sloppy - especially in the first 4 minutes of the match. Had he played better (or been a bit more picky about target selection [like not whiffing on a torpedo drop against the Gearing]), then the match likely wouldn't have been such a nailbiter.

Hey I'm new in the game, may I ask why there's a cyclone icon on the top right? does that affect the game?

A cyclone is a relatively rare event where a cyclone spawns, which decreases all spotting, eventually reducing visibility of all kinds to 8 kilometers. It eventually passes after a few minutes.

alien concept to surface ship only players : they are the ones that lose the matchups through yolo play : playing a cv well takes a lot of practice best done by avoiding Premium ships until you have unlocked at least 3 tier X - try it, you will see

@@rodod1917 Try to play it u will not find it easy u r just a cv aversion person many ships now have powerful AA that u can not fly over or just get close to it they will eat the squadran its not easy as u think

​@@rodod1917 Flank relief, fighter protection, surface ship spotting, submarine detection, enemy CV hunt, etc. Playing CV is not talking about damage. Playing CV especially in random is about how best to support your team to win the game. To which side of the map you send your planes and move your ship closer to will affect how the game will play out. It could be the difference of saving your dying teammate out from a pinch or mistakenly letting them die. Letting certain ships that are too dangerous for your team too long in the game or killing them early. Forcing the enemy team out from a cap or letting them be. Etc. As much as I hate facing CVs especially when I take my GK or Harugumo out on a ride, I have huge respect to those who knows how to play that class well. The thing that got me killed most of the time are not CVs. It is mostly being the only one left holding out a flank because the others ran away out in the open giving juicy broadsides to the enemy Yamato.
