@@BassGeek yea another I was looking at are the Profound Outdoors ones Timmy Horton's company has since its local and I haven't tried much yet. Another I well tell ya to try at some point, I have a bank set up i use with a snap swivel, the black locking type, and then I tie a little six to ten inch piece of line with a loop knot at one end to the jerkbait, a floating type like a Rapala Jointed Husky Jerk or a regular Husky and then just tie a egg swivel or drop shot swivel, nothing to heavy but enough to help it get down into the water, to a piece of line only a couple of inches long and seems to work really good on deep fish. Have to reel it kinda quick so you don't just let it hang on bottom, but most fish don't seem to pay the weight much attention and the lure is still free enough to carry out it's action but way down deep

Can you explain why you passed by so many groups of fish and refused to cast a line out? I’m newer to reading electronics so pardon my confusion.
@BassGeek5 жыл бұрын
First it takes experience on the lake. Some lakes I would have stopped on those fish. I know the how many fish should be in a good school on this lake. Now all that being said most of the time I would pass on those first groups on most lakes that I know the group up. Those first groups were spread out suspended up, not really relating to structure. They were following the ditch or creek channel. Those fish are hard to catch. So I just decided to find more and easier fish to catch. Larger the school the more competitive the bass are so they are easier to catch and catch more of them.
