Topwater Blow Ups, viewed from below. Whopper Plopper, Frog, Popper, and Walking Baits. There is a ton to learn when you watch how bass react to lures. Watch how they stalk the surface baits, or ambush them, or fight over them, depending on the lure and the competition.
This is a unique perspective that has virtually never been seen before. The only other footage we're aware of is our own footage that we produced last year. Watch closely at how the fish position, when they strike, and what triggers the reaction. Studying their movements will make you a better bass fisherman this summer.

Topwater Fishing has to be the most satisfying. To see the strikes like that just adds to the whole fishing experience. Especially the salt water blowups from those huge aggressive fish.

Most people in my area won't throw topwater baits unless its cloudy, raining, or a dark day. One of the first things I noticed in this video is the sun light coming down through the water, and when a bass breaks the surface you can see it looks like a bright day. I also like how the bass are looking up at the bait almost undecided on whether they want to go for it or not before they shoot up and attack it. I love this view of topwater strikes as much as when a bass hits the topwater bait I'm throwing, got to watch it again.....

You guys always have the best underwater shots! Love seeing how worked up those bass get when they are schooling. One big thing I noticed was how the fish reacted to the weedless frog. They puffed up much more and would dart around anytime you gave the frog a twitch. Almost as if the frog seemed much more of a threat to them than prey.

I have to say the video with the smaller male pushing back the female from the swim baits had to be one of the coolest and most eye opening videos I’ve seen so far how smart these fish really are or can be it was a little family under water

Great content to see how Bass attack a topwaters lure. I have always suspected those like top water, spinnerbaits, and crank baits should be retrieved with some speed with some pauses here and there if needed. Glad to see the speed didn't affect the schooling fish.

Awesome clip, again. Thanks so much. With the exception of the frog which they gulped whole, it seems like they went for the head of the bait. Most if not all the hookups were on the front hook. Interesting. I have pretty stained water here in northern NJ so i have no idea if that would change their attack. And our bass are tiny compared to yours. Anyway it's exciting to see how fish behave in that beautiful clear water. Thanks again guys. your the best.
