Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

Thanks guys for all the content! I grew up fishing a pond and never had success at the lake. After all the countless videos I have seen now of y’all’s I finally had success and confidence to fish a lake. Scored my new PB at 5.3 lbs. owner flashy swimmer with a 4.8 keitech. Thank you!

That bass and his stick chewtoy though...lol. I'm glad you put in that Jewel jig. I've used them for years, back to when Eakin owned the company...they're made a few miles from my property in North Central Arkansas right by Bull Shoals Lake. If you've ever fished Bull Shoals, you know why that bait came to be. Anyhow, thanks for the footage, too cool!

Amazing underwater footage guys. That two-stage bite seems to be common. I've often heard that is because they stun the fish first. Amazing how they carry the lure off sometimes as well. This gives a great picture of what's happening. So funny that the largemouth bit the stick multiple times. I recently caught a bass with just one eye. I am sure they probably also miss often. Probably my biggest takeaway on this one is the light reflection on the bottom. I know getting this was tough and time-consuming. Thanks so much for putting it together. I could watch this all day. 👍

Love the underwater footage! I guess it's one of the things we all can learn so much about how perfect our art. I am wondering how you do that. I hope I am not asking for craft secrets here but maybe you can tell in one of your videos how you get them to sit there and eat a lure right in front of the camera. It's amazing! All the best to you guys!

Great video!👍🏻. Kind of like putting a movie in our heads now that we can kind of rely on when we are fishing jigs now. We’re going in with that little extra piece of confidence I think now. What I really find interesting though is no mention of scent or attractant on these jigs. So I’d love to hear from Tim, and Matt about that. I’m very very curious to hear what they have to say on that. I’m a big believer in scent, or attractant. Some are not. So I look forward to hearing about this part of the jig game. Thanks. 👍🏻

My hook-up ratio is probably the best on a jig but this video makes me want to not swing on the initial bite anymore. I’m surprised my ratio is great when majority of the fish in this video the first bite is behind the hook! Great video!

I would like to hear more about how this footage changes your fishing. For example, if they are always biting the trailer behind the hook, couldn't we use that info to change the bait set up and hook those fish? Do you feel the 2 and 3 step bites and if so, does that change your hook set technique?
@Xray48583 жыл бұрын
I really enjoy ALL of the underwater video. I really hope you can get footage on how River current, wind effects a bass to adjust or hold for ambush. Hell, who knows; maybe learn something no one has ever seen or know about bass.

I had Oscar cichlids as pets when I was a kid, and they grew to be pretty big. I fed them some live craws once, and they always, without fail, grabbed them by the claws first and shook them until the claws fell off before eating the craw. Sometimes they'd leave the claw and not even eat it later.
