One thing I respect about Tori Kelly is she has always credited her African heritage and influences for her soulful voice. And now, she's doing the same with her Christian beliefs. She can easily pass and be a big pop star, but she chooses to stay true to herself. That takes a lot of courage and strength. And God has honored her for it. Not to mention she is recently married, healthy, great family and she’s massively respected throughout the music industry. The “she needs to be more famous” comments gotta chill. My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight.
