You can get a $5 syphon pump from the auto parts or hardware store. I have an electric one as well, but I hate it when I get out to the field and the battery is dead. I'm thinking about rigging up my own out of some fuel line and an outboard motor primer bulb. It'll probably last longer and reach further into my 5 gallon jug.

Bart,,, Are giving up on Fresh Breeze? Or just trying something new? Looks like you need to order a set of floats. LOL One bad thing about the pump carbs is the tendency to run lean and burning up your motor. You could use a RC fuel pump.

Not giving up on the fresh breeze , just want to give foot launch a try

If you Prime it right it will start pretty much first time every time. Don’t burn that starter out. They are bloody expensive.👍🇬🇧😜stand facing the car lean against it so much easier.

BART ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION DID YOU TAKE THE FRESH BREEZE AND POD OUT BEHIND THE BARN YET, ... DO SOME TARGET PRACTICE YET? DONT SELL THAT CRAP TO SOME POOR SOUL. THINK OF YOU PAIN WITH IT? LOL, BUT REALLY MAKE IT INTO A LAWNMOWER BUT KEEP THE JUNK ON THE GROUND. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YA UP AND ABOUT ON YOUR NEW ONE, HOPE IT BETTER THAN THE LAST. HAPPY FLYING!! BROTHER. SHOW-EM WHAT A FARM BOY CAN DO TOO! GIDDEY UP!! SINK THE SPUR'S!

Been watching those videos for over a year now. I'm going crazy want to fly one, but one minor problem, money. Maybe one day. Was thinking about flight junkies, but after watching your videos and reading comments, i don't know now. I guess i need to save up cash also for training.

Use a jiggle hose. It is a hose with a little ball in one end that only lets fuel flow One Direction. Elevate the fuel can so it is higher than the tank on the paramotor put the jiggle hose without the ball end in the paramotor tank and put the ball end in the fuel can and then jiggle it in and out of the fuel can really fast and it creates a siphon and will continuously pour fuel into the paramotor tank and both ends of the jiggle hose are inside the can and the tank there will be no spilling. It is super easy and it is the way I fill mine. Worst case scenario I get one or two drips of gas when I take the hose out of the fuel tank on the paramotor.

Yeah, the fill location stinks on the Tornado. I use a cheap transfer pump to fill my tank, or a long transmission funnel. Bart, I don't have experience with the 2 blade prop, but I would think that you'd want the 3 blade for yourself. How are you liking it so far? I'm burning about 4.5 liters/hr.
@BartBerry5 жыл бұрын
The 2 blade seems to have plenty of power, but I have plans of the 3 blade later, just went with the 2 blade while training on foot launch just in case of a prop strike, a bit cheaper to replace if it should happen ;)

That sure is a nice running motor! More vibration... probably because it's strapped to your back. It'll be interesting to see the power difference between the Monster and the 280...that 280 sure revs quickly. I have a Monster and mine runs very smooth. I think I'd get a wooden prop or two...the one you have on there now is just too pretty to break. Also about the tach and the problems filling the fuel tank... all the parameters are sold pretty much "al-cart"...expect to discover a few special needs with each one. Thanks for sharing.
@577buttfan5 жыл бұрын
Once he gets it all broke In and tuned properly it won't vibrate as much..its still slobbering rich.

If you guys use adblue over there the blue tube that comes with it makes a great fuel funnel for paramotors. The fuel hose of my my fuel can is a perfect fit into the adblue nozzle. Never spill a drop!

OMG Bart its a Duck pond all right, don't over heat the electric starter please give about 8 seconds pause between a long start period and the next start period ,may i point out something Bart your followers think the world of you Man cos your a really lovely bloke no bull shit and tell it like it is these companies don't have a expert on hand for final design the fuel tank filler could easily be at the side for easy access ,oil should always come with each new motor that's a must ,safe flying dear friend,PD PS. love all your videos.

Hey man! For filling the tank I HIGHLY recommend a jiggler pump. You can get one at Harbor Freight for about $7. They are genius and so easy to use.

Bart use 3ft of hose, put unit on floor pour gas into funnel and hose, no problem. If gas can is heavy transfer gas to smaller container pour smaller amounts.
@Chris-Fennimore5 жыл бұрын
Yep, you need 2 or 3ft of 1 inch clear plastic hose from Lowes. Insert one end in tank, fill from your can on other end.
@David657025 жыл бұрын
My tank is mounted about like yours is I just use a long transmission funnel works perfect that red funnel is a lot shorter than mine (size does matter) so I'm sure you can find one longer, if not put a small length of hose on the funnel. Good luck.

It's easy to fill the tank on my Nitro 200. Pull the harness forward and put the funnel in behind it, inside the swing arm. I use a gas can with a hard nozzle and it fills no problem. Has it been easier to start since that first start? My Nitro likes a lot of priming. It sounds like you didn't have enough prime.
@BartBerry5 жыл бұрын
It has started very easily since the first start, I agree I don't think I primed it well enough the first time

Go to your local hardware store, Lowe’s, Home Depot or somewhere and purchase large tubing and make yourself a pouring spout that is longer that you can attach to you gas can

Getting fuel in there is VERY easy with a shake siphon. Get them from Amazon or some parts stores. It's so much better than dumping cans. If you dont buy one, message me and I'll send you one just as a gesture to a fellow pilot.

I would suggest adding some more tube on that long funnel so it reaches above the motor I can't wait to see how you feel it stacks up against the fresh breeze I personally want to look for a good 4 stroke since I'm going to trike don't like all that 2 stroke fiddling reminds me of my dirt bike days

Hey Bart, what you need is a self starting shaker siphon hose. Just put one end in your tank and the other in the gas can. Give it a few shakes and the fuel will flow freely in. No fuss. No mess. You can find them on Amazon.

Why not lengthen the hose on your fuel can? Pick up a longer bit when you're in at work today. You're right about the poor design though, a real lack of foresight by the manufacturer.
@tonymarzano22205 жыл бұрын
Could you turn the tank around? Looks pretty close to the harness, but ya that’s a minus for the 280 You think they would of thought of that as soon as someone tried adding fuel too it, just sayin
