The Norfolk Land Shark still lives...buts it's migrated to Germany! Think what it might have looked like if original design proposal for a twin tail fin had been adopted. Nice livery on the "special one".

Beautiful airplane. I was able to link up with a German backseater about twenty years ago. He was on staff at the school in Toronto. The complaint I can remember him making was that it was underpowered. Thoughts from any experts out there?

Good coverage, I'm going there later this month. May I ask what sort of duration you were there for to capture all these movements? I want to judge how busy the base can get, of course understanding that each day is different and military bases are always pot luck. Thanks.

Hi, they fly 6 - 7 Typhoons & 5 - 6 Tornados. We was there Monday afternoon all day Tuesday & Wednesday, they start flying about 9 - 9.30am & i.30 - 4.00pm. Enjoy your self.
