Great job! I purchased the 60v super recycler in May. I’m Very happy with it. It has the auto/max selector switch for the rpm. I usually keep it selected to max for the improved blade suction. It drains the battery quickly, but it’s a good trade off to have a cleaner cut.

I have the Ryobi 40V 6ah mower. I've had it for about a year and it works great. Runtime is excellent. Love all of the advantages of it over gas. Wouldn't go back.

I have a Ryobi 40V mower as well. I loved it until the motherboard died 3 months past warranty and it has been a shit show to get repaired. If you call Ryobi you are on hold for almost an hour. With parts & labor almost $200 to fix, plus only one place within a 50 mile radius is an authorized Ryobi repair center. Parts take forever to arrive. I am now thinking of buying this Toro for my small yard because at least there are tons of Toro service centers.

For more suction, see the Toro dealer and order what I call the "kicker" blade for the 21" super recycler, my neighbor had the same remarks about suction in lush grass. The "kicker" fit right on there like it was made for it. This solved the problem, I was a Toro dealer for over 25 years before we sold the store. Wished we'd had the 60 volt stuff to sell.

Well done. My experience in the PNW is mulching a "nice to very nice" lawn is prolly a no go. Best to bag here I think. Exception would be is during the growing seasons if you are able to mow 3x a week - then mulching is viable.
@PacificNorthwestLawns2 жыл бұрын
When I use my gas powered super recycler I have no issues mulching all year long. I rarely bag clippings unless there's a specific reason to.

I have 10,000 sq ft of lawn. Takes me an hour to mow and I have the Toro gas super recycler. If battery life was better then I would consider purchasing but it's not even close so with that said will keep using my gas super recycler. I use a black and decker 20 volt string trimmer and you get like 15 to 20 minutes at the most. Very frustrating but I have two extra batteries.
@PacificNorthwestLawns2 жыл бұрын
I get it. I don't think this particular mower would do 10k sq ft on a single charge. Hopefully the technology gets better

@@PacificNorthwestLawns hopefully they improve big time because many towns/ cities are getting nutty about gas powered lawn equipment but they do not realize it takes a lot of electricity to charge all of this equipment

We can't mulch in the PNW. Especially in the spring :) I used to operate a corded electrical mower a decade ago and it could not push thru the tall wet grass. Battery is getting better, it just isn't quite there. Thanks for the review. Your front looks amazing BTW. Your back...well, it looks like mine after my reno. POA sucks, ugh.
@PacificNorthwestLawns2 жыл бұрын
I've been mulching for years in the spring with no issues. The backyard has turned into a dumpster fire. I'll likely do a video on that next. I was wondering when someone would notice 😔

@@PacificNorthwestLawns lol, sorry. I was so disappointed when i came out of the winter with those white devil seeds. At least for me, all that hard work and my lawn became worse. The problem with watching these vids is I become knowledgeable. My turf guy said I should learn to live with POA. Hell nah. Last fall I ripped out my one year lawn and started over. I removed the sod with a cutter and brought in new dirt. It looks great now

Nate, you have to check out the Milwaulkee, although not perfect I have to say it's may favorite rotary mower I have ever used. Expensive but no regrets so far. I will never use the Honda HRX217 again unless I have to clear out a woods. I pay for all my lawn equipment and products so always credible user experience. It is a above the #1 ego brand mower which I also have so my experience is legit. Hard to explain the experience.

Not a MTD/Troy deck, it's the old Toro "whirlwind deck" ... been around since the mid-70's.
