Toro Precision Stream Rotating Nozzle

@RainJetSprinklers Last time I was there (that was when I found out the time had been removed) I was still able to run it from the panel under the stairs (ran the chopper only at first but then briefly flipped on the blower during the spin down)

@RainJetSprinklers Hey Cory, long time no see. Toro/Irritrol are still ramping up production as this was just recently introduced. As of now, these nozzles are only special ordered from Toro. They are not yet on the market where you can go down to Ewing, John Deer Landscapes, or Smith Pipe and Supply and get them. I was told that Lake Elsinore School District is currently testing them out.

@yuandrew Great! If they do that periodically it will keep that blower lubricated and the rotator gears almost rust free

@yuandrew Yeah I've been busy and kinda refocusing my priorities. I'm not a Toro guy in the slightest, but I would like to pick up one of these to try. Last time I was at Ewing, which was a few days ago, the manager didn't know anything about them yet. I would be curious in seeing that Lake Elsinore school system. BTW: About 3 Fridays ago I heard the thunderbolt off berry perform a growl. Makes me wonder how it was activated with no AR timer.

@yuandrew Seems somebody else knows how to do that trick b/c I definitely heard it, loud and clear.

Bought them at Menards, installed around 20 so far and having issues with 4 getting stuck, than rotate than stuck again. It seems like little particles were sucked inside the nozzle with backflow.Very disappointed as there is no way to take them apart and clean them.Anyone having same issues?

I bet you the gears will 1) eventually become coated with calcium deposits or 2) become stripped. I'll have to try one out.
